The first issue of Mad Cave Studios' Hunt. Kill. Repeat. lands next month. The new series includes an all-star creator cast including writer Mark London (Black PantherBattlecats), artists Francesco Archidiacono and Marc Deering (Green Lantern, Black Panther), colorist Lee Loughridge (Deadly ClassThe Good Asian), and letterer Rus Wooton (The Walking Dead). The new series may be just what the doctor ordered if you're looking for something outside of the normal "Superhero" comic formula/genre, especially if you're a fan of Greek mythology and revenge storylines.

Mad Cave Studios was kind enough to share the covers for the first issue, which were created by Ryan Kincaid (VampirellaRed Sonja), as well as a few of the interior pages. You can find them all below!

In what's being described as Kill Bill meets Clash of the TitansHunt.Kill.Repeat. takes readers to a world ruled by Zeus and his children. "From Francesco Archidiacono's perfectly executed penciling to Lee Loughridge's vibrant colors, Hunt. Kill. Repeat. came to life exactly the way I had envisioned it in my mind,” said Mark London. “It's been a wild ride and truly invigorating to work with such talented individuals like the artists mentioned above, but also Marc Deering, Rus Wooton, Ryan Kincaid and Chris Fernandez. I am beyond excited for the fans to get this double-sized first issue in their hands and for everyone to see what we have in store for them with Hunt. Kill. Repeat."

“Hunt. Kill. Repeat. is a wild ride, packed with punches, armored gods, and mythological creatures,” said Francesco Archidiacono. “I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience from my first work with an American publisher and I hope my pencils convey the fun I had while working on it.”

“I am very much looking forward to showing the world that we have all spent the last ten months working on and introducing Francesco's wonderfully dynamic pencils to everyone,” said Marc Deering. “Hunt. Kill. Repeat. is a one hell of a thrill ride! Hold on and get ready!”

It’s Kill Bill meets Clash of the Titans in Hunt. Kill. Repeat. The all-new, action packed series by Mark London (Battlecats, Knights of the Golden Sun). When the Greek gods invade Earth, society is quickly forced to comply with their new rulers.

However, one god, Artemis, rejects her brethren’s ideology and has found solace in the love of a mortal. When she is called to Olympus to answer for her betrayal, the gods strip away her godly powers and leave her for dead. Now, ten years later, Artemis is on a quest for revenge to confront her father, Zeus, for taking away everything she ever loved.

I have to say that after reading the first issue, I'm definitely excited to see what the creative team has coming in future issues of Hunt. Kill. Repeat.

Will you be picking up issue number one next month when it lands at your local comic shop?

“Artemis, rejects her brethren’s ideology and has found solace in the love of a mortal.”

Artemis, the Greek goddess of virginity? The one who was promised by Zeus that she would never have any romance? 🤦‍♀️

@EarlChai - maybe that's the whole reason she goes rogue?

Think she asked Zeus to grant her eternal virginity, so maybe she wants to come back on that now?

For a second I though that was Maestro on the cover.

Anyway, I quite like this premise. It being set in the modern day is an interesting setting for Greek gods to run around in.
