Steven Yeun & Felicia Day Join Animated CHEW Adaptation
The Walking Dead actor and Supernatural actress will provide the voices for the main characters in Jeff Krelitz's animated take on the popular Image comic series, which focuses on a detective who gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats.
THR report that Steven Yeun and Felicia Day have signed on to voice Tony Chu and Amelia Mintz in Jeff Krelitz's (Torchwood: Web of Lies, Peter Panzerfaust) animated adaptation of John Layman's Eisner Award winning Image comic series, Chew. The story focuses on a "cibopath" detective (Chu), who gets psychic impressions from the food he consumes. His love interest is a food critic named Amelia Mintz, who is a "saboscrivner" - someone who can write about food so precisely the reader actually feels like they are tasting it. Chew is being executive produced by Layman, the comic's other co-creator, Rob Guillory, and with Scott Boxenbaum.
