It would have been legendary for them to put Dr.Doom on that Madvillian album. I mean MF Doom is based off Dr. Doom.

We seriously putting a Lil B album in with Doom and Gza. And THIS is why I turned in my hip hop card years ago.

Ridiculoussssss.

I'd rather listen to "whoomp there it is" 958 times in a row on the highest decibel than listen to "new" hip Hop.

I know, very detailed...but very true.

You can't say "new" hip hop is terrible if you only heard what's played on the radio...

Sorry @yeezus wept...

I hear it all, radio and non radio.

I'd just rather dig in the crates for some classics than listen too Any of the bubble gum stuff. No offense.

It's just a different feel. Not for me.

I'd take Wu-tang over anything that has come out in about 10 years...with the exception of Nas...
and as for kanye, I'm actually a fan. Beats on point, and obviously he can spit. so there ya go.

But anything else, yikes...Drake, Rick Ross and all those knuckle heads...need to Go...and go now.

@MonsterSquad

I feel you, and this recent Drake and Meek Mill beef is just the icing on the trash cake. Mainstream hip hop is purely entertainment these days.

Sounds like Lil B is getting a lil hate for his inclusion. With 17 Album covers covers released and 33 yet to come there's bound to be a few weak links. I don't know the musical tastes of the artists who are creating each piece, but it's a safe bet to think that sometimes they are basing their choice on what's on the album cover not what's inside.

@skeebolistic84 - idk why we havent seen them use Outkast yet. Most of their covers are comic book influenced.

Also, I've been a hip hop head for years....not so much with the newer stuff, but who the [frick] is Lil B? How have I never heard of this dude and Marvel does a homage to him?
