For years the Kirby family have had a legal dispute over the rights of some of the most popular Marvel characters, but in this week´s releases we can see a little change in the credits of some specific comics. The recap/credits pages of All New X-Men #33, Fantastic Four #14, Wolverine and the X-men #11, Inhuman #7 and Death of Wolverine: Deadpool & Captain America #1 now include a creator credit for Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, as well as Joe Simon in the latter issue.

This new additions are said to be part of the settlement between Marvel and Kirby´s family reported about a month ago. Here´s an image for comparison:

It may not look like a lot but in an industry full of conflicts over the rights of multiple characters it can be incredibly significant for some people and definitely a step in the right direction. According to ComicBook, the suit included 45 Marvel characters so expect to see the creator credits in more comics in the next weeks.

What do you think of this little addition? Is this something to be happy about or will people try to look the negative side of it? As always share your thoughts below and thanks for reading.
