I compiled all the in-continuity Marvel Comics relating to the (Avengers) Movie Universe they are creating.

The list is, relatively, in order to the movie timeline.

The Incredible Hulk: The Fury Files
Written by Frank Tieri
Pencils by Salva Espin
Cover by Steve Lieber

This two issue web comic, occurring before events in the summer blockbuster film "The Incredible Hulk", shows what happens when the Hulk comes face-to-face with Nick Fury.

Frank Tieri on the plot of the story:
"Fury doesn’t yet know what Banner becomes, that he turns into a big green monster—all he knows is that if Ross finally did create a super soldier, Fury intends to see it live and in person, the protests of his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents be damned."

Paulley: Interestingly this comic brings up the question of Nick Fury's age. Fury remarks that he fought in "The War" and that his staff think he's an "old man." Agent Coulson also appears.

Iron Man: Fast Friends - issue 1
Written by Paul Tobin
Pencils by Ronan Cliquet
Cover by Dave Bullock

The first issue of the web comic takes place before the events of "Iron Man" and provides insight into the bond between Tony Stark and his best friend, Jim "Rhodey" Rhodes.

Paulley: Nothing extremely interesting here, tony is shown testing a microwave weapon codenamed AWE and Rhodey later warns Tony about the dangers of testing the Jericho weapon in a hot-zone.

Iron Man: I Am Iron Man
WRITER: Peter David
PENCILS: Sean Chen
COVER BY: Adi Granov

This is a two issue movie adaptation of the first "Iron Man" film.

Paulley: This series stay very close to the film and even includes Cap's shield in the background of the scene where it appears in the movie. Interestingly this comic does expand on the role of S.H.I.E.L.D. showing Nick Fury detecting Stark's escape from the rebels and expands on the after-credits final scene. At the end it shows Fury driving away asking for Natasha (Black Widow) to be called in.

Iron Man: Fast Friends - issue 2
Written by Paul Tobin
Pencils by Ronan Cliquet
Cover by Dave Bullock

The second issue of the web comic series takes place just after the Iron Monger fight of "Iron Man" and provides insight into Tony Stark's first meeting with S.H.I.E.L.D.

Paulley: Agent Coulson get introduced to stark and shows off some of the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility and even makes mention of the Damage Control team that has gone to work cleaning up the mess made by the fight, and preparing an alibi for Stark. They also tell stark he needs to learn how to fight as he hits like an inventor.

Iron Man 2 - Nick Fury: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Written by Joe Casey
Pencils by Green
Cover by Doe

Is an upcoming series, set between the 2 films, that sees Fury and Stark keep tabs on each other.

Iron Man 2 - Phil Coulson: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Written by Joe Casey
Pencils by Felix Ruiz
Cover by Hannin

Is an upcoming series that, by the look of the preview art, takes place at the end of the first film about the time Fury goes to see Stark and sees Coulson and a rookie S.H.I.E.L.D. agent drawn into a terror plot perpetrated by the insidious organization, the Ten Rings.

Iron Man 2: Public Identity
Written by Joe Casey & Justin Theroux
Pencils by Barry Kitson
Cover by Brandon Peterson

Is a three issue series that takes place in the months between "Iron Man" & "Iron Man 2". When Tony Stark announced "I am Iron Man" his life changed forever. How did Tony Stark put a new chapter in the history books? And how did Iron Man break and rewrite all the rules?

Paulley: features the human Jarvis from Tony's passed and has mention of Ten Rings, WHiH World News (from The Incredible Hulk). Also has appearances from General "Thunderbolt" Ross
