The Inhumans and the royal family didn’t fare well when their live-action series was mauled by fans and critics alike, and now it seems trouble is coming for their comic book counterparts as Marvel announces the Death of The Inhumans series.

The book will be penned by Thanos’ writer Donny Cates with art by Venom’s Ariel Olivetti. No details have been revealed aside from a release date set for this July, but the ominous title and cover art (seen below) suggests fans can expect plenty of death and destruction.

What do you folks make of this announcement? Which Inhuman, if any, do you think will bite the dust? Be sure to join the discussion in the comments below.

Even the comic book that inspired the series couldn’t survive the backlash from the series.

So now that they have the X Men back, and the the Inhumans show was crap, im guessing they are going to start treating the X Men better in the comics, and now the Inhumans are going to be treated like crap, like the X Men have been for the past few years

Oh, hey, look. Now that Marvel is only a year away from regaining the film rights to the X-Men, they are tearing down the property they tried to force readers to embrace in PLACE of the X-Men. What a surprise.

I'm sure that the X-Men will become the marquee title it always USED to be before Ike Perlmutter got his panties in a twist over movie rights... but isn't it great that your favorite characters are basically being held hostage by a petty, money-grubbing douchebag?
