Exclusive Pre-Order Costume revealed for Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions

A new pre-order costume is revealed, eliminating certain assumptions about the last costume/dimension that has yet to be announced!

Upon hearing the news that Spider-Man 2099 was the third of four playable "dimensions", fans of the books and games scratched their heads in confusion and anticipation as to what the last costume could be. Assumptions ranged from "Spider-man Reign" to "Spider-man India". Cosmic Spidey was also mentionned but this one we don't have to worry about anymore since he will be the exclusive costume for pre-ordering the game! So that's one down... what other "in game" bonuses to come might slim down the alternatives?

For the last of the four suits, my money is on a Spider-man that has never been Peter or crossed Peter Parker's path yet so i'd scratch Scarlet Spider or even Civil War Spider-man off the list, personally. They might pop up as bonus costumes to use but i doubt they'd get their own playable dimension. Lets list all the possibilities left in the comments section!

Apparently, it's news to alot of people because judging by the comments in the last Shattered Dimensions article, NO ONE knew. I just found that out today, myself.

Spider-Man Reign is probably the only other "Peter Parker" dimension that has a chance to be explored. I only say this because The Dark Knight Returns was one of the all time most popular graphic novels ever written, Old Man Logan was a very popular Wolverine run and Grand Torino was also a highly acclaimed film. They might want to explore an "aged Spidey" avenue for the last one. Plus... the future isn't supposed to be written yet right? So i guess that makes it a separate dimension altogether LOL ;P

I think all the costumes he's EVER worn should be unlockable...including the mangaverse..in fact I think it would be funny to see the mangaverse version...make it all cartoony and parody of Japanese anime with a mixture of Noir and Amazing

BlackAirsAki87- That would be awesome but there are so many that it would crowd it too much IMO. To make them interesting, they have to figure out new abilities for each of them. That's alot of work considering all the costumes already in existance.

I'm still not sure how to feel about this game but it's shaping up to look pretty damned good! I have to go with Shaman's idea of using Spider-Man: Reign as the fourth universe - there is a hell of a lot for them to explore in that one. I wouldnt mind seeing more of the JMS future Spidey that we caught a glimpse of in Amazing Spider-Man #500 either though! :)

Actually it's not just this version of cosmic spidey either. Gamestop leaked images of four different versions of cosmic spidey, one for each universe. The pictures have since been removed.

ArachnoMan- Good lord, that means they're putting ALOT more work into the bonus costumes than i thought. That probably means that we'll only be seeing 2 or maybe three bonus costumes at the most, aside from the four dimension ones. I think it's a good idea to limit the extras and focus more on quality this time around. But i have to agree with XmutantX about Cosmic Spidey... he is kinda lame. Hope the other ones rock.

Josh- Damn right, that would be a very interesting dimension to play :)

BlackAirsAki87- I think Scarlet's a must since its so freakin' popular but the black one has been seen to death and the Iron one is just i dunno... "lacking" is probably the word i'm looking for. We'll see :)

CDB- Well, i wouldn't find it very much different from the regular spidey universe. Even the Reign universe might be too similar aside from the fact that he's old. I have no clue what they'll go for but i'm sure it will be a very different universe/character than the rest ;)

Civil War
Reign
India
House of M
Any of the slingers
Armored Spidey
Scarlet Spider
Symbiote

And i'm sure i'm missing a few here...

sagekilz- I'll agree with you on that. It definitely does. I think the whole switching of alter egoes sucks a tad because it automatically makes it at the very least half good/half not as good. Spliting it into four has desastrous probabilities. It's the one thing that kept me away from Web of Shadows. It just doesn't appeal to me at all. I would rather have had a whole free roaming NOIR game!!! That would have been awesome to me :)) But i'll settle for this one, i just really wanna play the noir universe. I just hope it's not over within 5 hours of gameplay and then... SWITCH! That would suck ass.

telavizion- Yeah, if they really go for a "different worlds" concept, i think India might be the next and last one to be announced. Which i wouldn't be to giddy about really.

yo, you guys are forgetting, mangaverse would be badass, spidergirl is a longshot but cool, but what about the spiderman from the exiles from earth-15 who merged with carnage ands a phychopathic killer who was originally a member of weapon x, thatd be sick!
