This past Friday the season, possibly series, finale of Constantine aired on NBC and the season finished with less than stellar numbers in their 18-49 demographic as the episode matched the past two week's 0.8 demo rating. Though the demo rating didn't grow the season finale rose 6% from in total viewers to 3.13 million. The final episode of the season was also a big twitter trend Friday night with both "Papa Midnite" and "#ConstantineFinale" trending in both the U.S. and worldwide trends, along with the fact the season finale managed to get second place in the Nielsen Twitter TV ratings. NBC has not yet announced what the fate of Constantine is leaving many fans to wonder whether it will be officially cancelled soon or if the series will manage to survive. A recent rumor of the show possibly moving to SyFy under the new name of Hellblazer started going around the web, now SyFy's senoir executive Ted A'Zary has debunked such rumor in his latest tweet:
So what do you guys think? Was this past Friday the final time we'll be seeing Matt Ryan as Constantine? Will you hold onto the hope that the series will be renewed by NBC or find a new home? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

I'll be very sad this show gets canned. I bet if it was on the CW and had a Flash/Arrow crossover it would have gotten a full season and already been renewed for a second.

Things I wanna see Matt Ryan star in:

Assassin's Creed (2016) as Edward Kenway

Guillermo Del Toro's Justice League: Dark

and any established franchise re-imagined by Max Landis

the show is really good. The last three episodes were solid. 13-th episode final twist was kinda bad. I hate when they do that. It happens in almost every tv series nowadays (i blame Prison Break for that. I hate these cliche endings)
I think the show is better than Gotham (i did not pic it up after the break).
Here's hope it's gonna stay.

Also kudos for the show for bringing some georgous cinematography with it.

I don't think it'll be cancelled. Typically, networks, especially NBC, will announce mid-season if they plan on cancelling a show. Happened with Bad Judge and a few others I can't think of right now. Although I haven't seen them renew a season this late... Maybe it is being given to another network. Hope it'd be CW, but who knows.

Constantine is a great show. Love Matt Ryan as Constantine. The stories progressed better as the season went on and the flow came together towards the end. NBC see it has potential and would be fools to cancel the show. Keep it NBC, give it the respect the show deserves and promote it correctly and the fans will follow. Maybe a Thursday night might be better.

Goddammit !!! - I was enjoying that on Amazon Prime!.

Perhaps Amazon could buy it to carry it on like they did with BBC's Ripper Street.

Show should have been called HELLBLAZER from the start. Much better name, and it would have attracted the American Horror Story crowd. Hell, even I may have watched.

@TheOverlord Frick Yeah!
AHS is one heavily serialized story that soaks in its horror themes.

Constantine or rather Hellblazer should not only have similar production,
a similar sense of macabre, but also a similar narrative structure.
That generic procedural sh*t is bringing down a good character-driven series.

I can't believe those crappy procedural shows like Law and Order and Bones get better ratings than great shows like Constantine and Hannibal.

Just move Constantine to Netflix.

I still see no reason it can't go to SyFy, just because the exec said he has no idea about the rumor. As for how the season ended, I guessed right about Manny and I hope there will be another season. There is still so much to explore in the Hellblazer universe.

If it does get another season I hope it stays just being thirteen episodes per season. This way more money can go into better effects, plus because there's less episodes it means that there won't be any filler episodes too.

What crying shame. Gonna miss this series. I hope to God their story will continue in Guillermo Del Toro's Dark League.
