CONSTANTINE: THE HOUSE OF MYSTERY Trailer Reveals A Crazy New Adventure For Matt Ryan's Demonologist

Warner Bros. Animation has debuted the first trailer for Constantine: The House of Mystery, an extended short that will take Matt Ryan's John Constantine on a horrific adventure through a haunted house...

Warner Bros. Animation kicked off the year with Catwoman: Hunted, and next up is Constantine: The House of Mystery. The short film will see Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine, a character he first played in NBC's Constantine before making the leap to the Arrowverse. There, the Welsh actor played the Hellblazer hero primarily in shows like Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow

In this all-new short, John Constantine wakes up in the eerie House of Mystery with no recollection of how he got there. Fortunately, Zatanna and his friends are all there. Unfortunately, they have a bad habit of turning into demons and ripping him to shreds, over and over again!

Oddly enough, it appears this short is set in the same New 52-inspired continuity that wrapped up with Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. Given the nature of these animated projects, it's entirely possible Warner Bros. Animation has been sitting on The House of Mystery for some time.

While Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth!, The Losers and Blue Beetle have all appeared as enhanced content on past DC Universe Movies, the extended-length Constantine: The House of Mystery makes its debut as the anchor for this dynamic shorts compilation that's set to be released on March 22.

Looks good! I actually like the animation style and I'm happy to see they're doing a Constantine movie without Batman

@narrow290 - Keanu’s Constantine and the animated film Constantine: City of Demons didn’t have Batman in it and to my knowledge they’re the only Constantine films lol but I know you meant the Justice League Dark stuff.. and Batman was alright in those didn’t bother me.

Looks good. DC Animated movies have disappointed a lot but at least their DC Showcase shorts have remained consistently good... for now.

Pretty interesting idea for a short. Just wish he was still playing the character on Legends.

For this year mainly interested in

Green Lantern Beware My Power. Pretty sure its the next entry into the Tomorrowverse, which has been consistently great, what the dceu should have been.

Battle of The Super Sons, their first cgi film, based on one of DC's recent comics (F you Bendis)

@dracula - I was wondering what they mean by a "Short" too. I really liked those new 52 animated movies and have seen them multiple times and I would love to see another Constantine movie set in that universe but a short or interactive is not something I would watch or be interested in at all, in fact I'm already bored of the idea after typing this and moving on with my life now lol

Pretty cool to see Etrigan there, wasn't expecting him. The animation and art style look neat.

The more Matt Ryan as Constantine that there's around, the better.
