In a few weeks, when NBC's Constantine returns, a powerful DC villain is going to wreak all kinds of havoc for Matt Ryan's John Constantine and Charles Halford's Chas. KSiteTV has just revealed that NBC has cast Mark Margolis (Daredevil, Breaking Bad) as the mighty sorcerer Felix Faust. He'll make his first appearance of the season in episode 10, which is titled "Quid Pro Quo." Check out the episode description below:

CHAS FACES A PARENT'S WORST NIGHTMARE -- MARK MARGOLIS GUEST STARS AS 'FELIX FAUST' -- Thousands of people across Brooklyn have slipped into a mysterious coma, including Chas' (Charles Halford) daughter. John (Matt Ryan) must find and defeat the evil behind it before it consumes the city. Angélica Celaya also stars.

The former Justice League villain has had recent battles with John Constantine in the comics and it looks like the next place these two will cross paths will be on the critically acclaimed NBC show. The show returns from winter hiatus January 16th, but the episode with Faust will air the following week on January 23rd.

What do you guys think of the news? Think Margolis will make a good Faust? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual spot!

Based on the wildly popular comic book series "Hellblazer" from DC Comics, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine specializes in giving hell... hell. Armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and his wickedly naughty wit, he fights the good fight - or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he's decided to leave his do-gooder life behind. But when demons target Liv, the daughter of one of Constantine's oldest friends, he's reluctantly thrust back into the fray - and he'll do whatever it takes to save her. Before long, it's revealed that Liv's "second sight," an ability to see the worlds behind our world and predict supernatural occurrences, is a threat to a mysterious new evil that's rising in the shadows. And now it's not just Liv who needs protection; the angels are starting to get worried too. So, together, Constantine and Liv must use her power and his skills to travel the country, find the demons that threaten our world - and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows... maybe there's hope for him and his soul after all.

Constantine features:
Matt Ryan as John Constantine

Charles Halford as Chas Chandler
Angélica Celaya as Zed Martin
Lucy Griffiths as Liv Aberdeen

Still haven't seen any of this show. I'll probably catch up on the weekends now that college football is over.

This should bring in more viewers with a comic book villain. I cannot wait!

Definitely want to watch this show at some point. But Friday nights are just not working for me. I'm usually stoned out of my gourd, hitting on some blonde that's entirely too hot for me...and then settling for the ugly friend...

I'm glad I decided to keep watching his show. The pilot was a bit iffy, but it's gotten better. And what a great way to end the mid season finale. Just a shame we won't be getting a full season order. Hopefully the ratings will stay high enough to get a second season. Introducing a big villain like Faust should help with that. At the very least, he should make for an interesting character.

How on earth is Faust a "former Justice League villain"?? Last I checked, he's still an enemy of the the JL, especially JLD.

Angélica Celaya also stars.

Didn't realize adding nothing to the show but a pretty face counts as starring. I still don't understand why they replaced useless pretty girl A with useless pretty girl B.

Love this show.It would be the perfect show to do a live action Jason Blood/Etrigan The Demon,Swampthing and many other fan favorite supernatural characters. So many to choose from.NBC could put shows on USA network and SYFY to create their own little DCTVU.Doing cross overs and special Justice League Dark tv events.

I think he sounds like a good choice as Faust, maybe a little old but could be very good. I like the show so far, John and Zed are great, what we need now is a powerful baddie and Faust may be just that. Given the budget, we could see more magic as John is a sorceror afterall, not just a few foreign language verses and some hand waving.

I'm currently reading New 52 Constantine and will go back and read the Hellblazer series. Not too familiar with all the villians and easter eggs. However I absolutely love the show and the characters. Keep Constantine going and cast Matt Ryan in the coming Justice League Dark movie. Also I know I'm asking a lot but you gotta have a Swamp Thing episode sooner or later.

Is everyone on this site 13? Everytime someone here quotes the comics it's always some new 52 crap. =S

Anyways, this show is really boring, but I'll give this episode a shot solely for the idea that I'll hear the name Felix Faust said on TV :)
