NYCC '14 COMICS: Marvel Officially Announces A New GAMORA Solo Comic
Well, Gamora wont be getting her own film, but Marvel just announced that she will be getting her own comic! This comic will be written by the Guardians Of The Galaxy screenwriter and is set to hit stores in spring of 2015. Hit the jump to check it out!
Marvel, at New York Comic-con has just officially announced that Gamora ( a member of the GOTG) will be getting her own solo comic that will be set to release in spring of 2015. Marvel has also revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy screen director, Nicole Perlman will write the series. Check out the cover below!
Gamora is a fictional character, a superheroine that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Jim Starlin, the character first appeared in Strange Tales #180 (June 1975). Gamora is the adopted daughter of the supervillain Thanos, and the last of her species. Her powers include superhuman strength and agility and an accelerated healing factor. She has appeared as the occasional love interest of the superheroes Adam Warlock and Nova, and a member of the group known as the Infinity Watch.
