Daredevil becomes the latest casualty in the new era of movie making reboots.

"But here's the line that made us go hmmmm (in a positive way). Marvel are "quietly developing a new version of Daredevil". No other details of writers or producers or potential directors or stars (although we know it won't be Ben Affleck, who's been vocal about how he felt stung by the reaction to the original). But it's the first proper confirmation we've had that Daredevil v.2.0 is anywhere near happening."

A Daredevil reboot has only been rumor and speculation before but now the Daredevil reboot is officially confirmed. So who should play the blind acrobatic lawyer?

lol Im cool with that. I LOVE Daredevil.

There were things to like about the first one, but really could have been SO much better

"Officially confirmed?" Yeah, not really. This just means it's in the early stages of development. Which means the odds are still long against it ever happening.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I like the Ben Affleck version. In later years, I've been able to see more of it's flaws, but I still love Ben Affleck in the role, and would love to see him return to it, especially in a "Born Again" movie.

I would rather not see a reboot, myself.

Apart from some pretty terrible CGI and a dodgy scene here and there the first Daredevil film wasnt too bad!

Still i think a reboot could be a good thing! A new Daredevil film needs to take the example of Ed Brubakers and to a lesser extent Bendis' work on the character - now that kind of thing would make a good Daredevil movie!

Guess, i better start work on a Daredevil fan cast! :D

Im too busy watching 'Lie To Me' but Ive gotta try and watch a few episodes of Dexter to see if this guy's actually any good for DD!

LEE: Well, he looks right for the part but ill have to check out his acting first!

I actually hope they keep Elektra out of DD this time - id personally like to see Karen Page this time round! Maybe they could follow the Kevin Smith storyline and have her murdered by Bullseye? That could lead into a great trilogy especially if they followed the characters history of having a nervous breakdown! :)

Just thinking it's a shame that Ray Park couldn't play DD, with his martial arts backround he would have been awesome. Yes I know the guy doesn't resemble DD, or Matt Murdock in any way , but the way he moves does

I actually thought the first version was decent and the Director's Cut was 100x better. I don't think they need to reboot it since his origin wasn't done too badly and personally, I don't want to see another origin. They just need to re-cast him since Ben Affleck won't do it. And it was surprisingly dark enough, too. The only justification in a re-boot is the fact that Bullseye is dead but other than that, I don't see a reason for a reboot because it was done pretty well and it actually felt like a Daredevil comic, which is the most important criteria of a CBM when I judge them.

Another DD is dumb move. It's gonna be like the Punisher. A Dr. Strange movie is a better idea. A Namor the Submariner movie is a better idea. Why oh why do they want to do another DD

I like Misha Collins (Castiel the angel on Supernatural) as Daredevil! Misha can play dark very well! He is intense!

I just want them to stay true to DD'S persona and story and get it completely right this time!

@Metalhead-Bullseye didn't die, if you watch past the credits, there's an extra scene with him in a full body cast. Good stuff.

Love this. Daredevil is my favorite comic after X-Men.
Fox really [frick]ed the Daredevil movie and so did Affleck.

I like the idea of Michael C. Hall.

Besides Ryan Reynolds [lol] what about Tom Jane? I actually liked his version of Punisher, albeit War Zone was fantastically gory and entertaining. He looks Matt Murdock-ish.

How 'bout Matthew Perry? Or the guy that played Nite Owl 2 from Watchmen?

I like Bullseye and Kingpin (how can you be a Daredevil fan and not), but if this is really gonna happen, bring on some Typhoid Mary, Mr. Fear, The Owl, Madcap, Gladiator, etc. Daredevil has such a cool rogues gallery. Why does every re-boot, re-make, re-hash have to use the same damn villians (Superman and Lex anyone?).

You Kinda wanna medium sized guy kinda slinky but ripped cause he isn't brute force he's agility so keep that in mind mch just wouldn't cut it matt Damon doesn't do movies like this and o think someone like Reynolds type would be prime the guy from hangover maybe! Haha
