Filming For The Upcoming Third Season of Marvel And Netflix's DAREDEVIL Looks Set To Begin This Week

"No parking" signs for "Ringside S3" suggest that filming for Season 3 of Netflix and Marvel's Daredevil is scheduled to commence at some point this week in New York City. More details past the jump...

Netflix has yet to announce a premiere date for Marvel's Daredevil Season 3, but it appears as though filming for the third season will begin this week, adding further fuel to the speculation fire that the new season will debut on the streaming service in 2018.

Over the weekend, a photo of public notice signs were shared on Twitter revealing that Daredevil is back to filming on the streets of New York City.

As you can see, the two "no parking" signs that have been posted indicate that filming on "Ringside S3" will begin shooting along those streets starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, November 13th. As Daredevil fans will recall, "Ringside" was also the working title for the show's second season, so it can be assumed that these signs are, in fact, for the new season of Daredevil. According to the signs, filming in that area will wrap up on Thursday, November 16th.

Most recently, actor Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin of crime, took to his own Twitter account to let fans know that the first reading of Daredevil Season 3 was happening.

Daredevil Season 3 is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2018 along with the second seasons of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Just be good. Please be good. Loeb and co. really need to demonstrate they're not a one trick pony, because so far they haven't reached that DD s1 greatness 5 seasons of shows later. Maybe that'll change with Punisher, but still, they now have 6 shows, at least have should be of super high quality to keep up consistency, otherwise why should they even bother making like 10 shows if 9 are okay. Hoping that they really do the Born Agains story justice.

@ScarletWarlock - DD season 1 had some of the best fight scenes and choreography. I'm hoping for more of that, plus more violence- I feel like they've toned it down quite a bit since then lol

@ScarletWarlock - I think all of the Marvel stuff broadly has been fine (some stretches of Agents nonwithstanding). Some of it's damn good.

But I've tend to believe that Marvel TV needs a more fostering environment. More resources is an easy thing to say, but just consolidation on a streaming platform (one where it's a real flagship, rather than a somewhat awkward second-hand cooperation). The Disney streaming service could be a big boon for Loeb. Less wheeling and dealing on what to do, and more focus on getting it done.

Oh, and Perlmutter well gone.

@JohnMarston220 - Yeah, same here. They've barely reached the gritty charm that they were able to accomplish in such episodes like the second one, the Nobu fight, and event the episode where DD is stuck in an abandoned warehouse with the wounded Russian. I'm hoping we can make our way back to those energetic, stylish as hell episodes.

@ScarletWarlock - Jessica Jones is the most SUBSTANTIVE show they've done.

Not the best, but the most substantial and that is it's own form of greatness.

You could squeeze the first 7 epiaodes of Luke Cage in there as well.

@ScarletWarlock - I'm mostly excited for Kingpin, I'm so glad he's back for season 3! Plus I'm hoping Matt gets a brand new suit for this upcoming season. I'm assuming he does considering the fact he gets wrecked while a friggin building comes crashing down on him lol

I'm thinking we'll see Born Again mixed with Shadowland. Anyone else think Black Sky blood resurrected Matt?

I'd really love it if they made a concerted effort to have some glamour shots and longer scenes of Charlie in costume with good lighting. They have to shoot around him looking like Derpdevil, but when the suit looks good, it looks VERY GOOD.

And there just aren't very many good shots of this badass.

Loved S1 and I thought S2 was mixed. The stuff with The Hand just wasn’t gripping, but the stuff with The Punisher and their conflicting ideologies was fantastic.
