Earlier today, DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran announced plans for 10 film and television projects that will make up the first wave of stories being told in the new DCU.
Titled "Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters," we haven't learned about every project being dreamed up for the new DCU, but this is certainly an exciting start. We're going to see A-List superheroes and even those the most hardcore DC fans may not be familiar with on the big and small screens, but they will all be part of a long-term interconnected story for this iconic franchise.
The ten new projects are set within the same shared DC Universe and will frequently share characters, ushering in a new era of storytelling now the DCEU and SnyderVerse are no more.
Warner Bros. has released official descriptions for each of the DCU's new films and TV shows. Some are incredibly brief and vague, while others reveal some exciting, albeit minor, new details - such as Superman: Legacy's premise!
