Logan ended with the death of Wolverine but seeing as that tale took place in the future and James Howlett is hundreds of years old, there's still potential for more stories with that character to be told. Unfortunately, Hugh Jackman doesn't appear to be remotely interested in returning as the popular member of the X-Men but that isn't going to stop Ryan Reynolds from attempting to win him back.
"He’s alive and well in my timeline," the actor teases. "There is a Logan running around out there with a little bushy chest and his little sharpy, sharpy claws, and he is alive and well and ready to go. I would love that." The pair did meet in X-Men Origins: Wolverine but that wasn't exactly the team-up most fans wanted, so what are the chances we'll see these two cross paths on the silver screen?
"I think convincing Hugh of that would be a near-impossible feat, but there’s no human being I love more than Hugh Jackman in that universe, and equally so as a friend. He’s just the best," Reynolds says in regards to bringing Wolverine back. "I already miss him as Logan, so I’m one of those guys that whenever I see him, I’m like, ‘Come on, man. Just one more. We’ll do it together. It’ll be fun. Come on! On three. Here we go, together. One, two, three, together,’ and it’s always just me saying it."
Stranger things have happened but Jackman does seem uninterested so we'll just have to wait and see.
