Will Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch Return In DEADPOOL 3? New Rumor May Finally Offer A Definitive Answer

Rumours continue to swirl that Earth-838 will play a crucial role in Deadpool 3, but is the threequel going to feature Elizabeth Olsen's return as the Scarlet Witch or not? We may finally have an answer...

For months now, rumours have persisted about Earth-838 playing a key role in Deadpool 3. If various "leaks" are to be believed, the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have left that reality in disarray, primarily because the Scarlet Witch brutally murdered the Illuminati.

That power vacuum supposedly means Magneto has reshaped the world in his image, with the TVA tasking Deadpool and Wolverine to put an end to a reality which could pose a threat to the entire Multiverse.

It's hard to imagine the Scarlet Witch not somehow being involved in that, whether it's to loosely adapt the events of House of M or just as a way of dealing with the fallout from what Earth-616's Wanda Maximoff did to her alternate reality counterpart.

However, one reliable scooper claims that neither Scarlet Witch Variant will appear in Deadpool 3

This isn't massively surprising, especially as we know both Agatha: Coven of Chaos and the rumoured Witches' Road Special Presentation are set to address the mystery surrounding Wanda's disappearance (she's thought to be alive but possibly in some sort of self-imposed exile).

It's a shame in many ways as Magneto's rumoured role in Deadpool 3 would have given Marvel Studios the chance to finally explore his and Wanda's father/daughter dynamic. That can still happen without the character being present, of course, and we dread to think about what happened to Earth-838's Wanda after she laid waste to the leaders of her totalitarian world.

It's always best to take rumours like this with a pinch of salt. Similar to the Doctor Strange sequel, there are a lot of wild claims swirling around Deadpool 3 but until we see something official, nothing is confirmed!

Deadpool 3 is currently set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

Why would the tva need Deadpool's and Wolverine's help "to put an end to a reality which could pose a threat to the entire Multiverse", don't they have those bombs that deleted timelines/universes?

On rumor articles, everyone should talk about what they're doing or what they had for dinner. These don't even merit discussion..

Remember when they used to ban people for "Attacking other users, inciting flame wars or attempting to hijack threads"? Now they make articles ON PURPOSE to start these offenses that should prompt a ban.. perfect example was the little mermaid show article yesterday. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE

They're profiting off of the same reasons they used to never tolerate. This is why they took admin privileges away from users like me, the ones who never gave those clowns a voice

Why are you even reporting on rumours when none of them are true?
There's strikes happening, that means nothing is being produced, written, or casted. There is nothing going on in film or tv right now.
Everyone is stirring the pot of shit with rumours at the moment because they're bored. And you're falling for it.

Just came up with a theory. What if Wanda did die at the end of MOM. And the Wanda they plan to bring into continuity is the Wanda from that other universe whose children are very much alive. They would not have to focus on bringing those children into reality as she did before because they already exist in the other universe.

They should maybe just leave Wanda dead. The clearly had no idea what to do with her after introducing her, so made her go crazy and die.

Will Josh definitively write 1452 more speculatory articles on this?

I think we all know the answer to that.
