It may not be happening anytime soon because of the bad blood between 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios, but producer of all X-Men films Simon Kinberg and Deadpool director Tim Miller discuss their hopes for an X-Men/Avengers crossover.

In the interview with CraveOnline, Miller had this to say about the potential: "I would love to, someday, in part, heal the rift between the world of X-Men and the world of Avengers" with Kinberg chiming in "I think we all would and I think there's so much crossover in the comic it would be neat to see those characters one day share a movie"

Kinberg continued, saying that "Both of us are actually quite close with Kevin and have a profound amount of respect for what he does. And it would be fun to all team up one day, somehow, together, if that could work."

Seems like they are game for a crossover! Also, about that Kevin Fiege mention and nod in Deadpool? Miller said it's a way to "try and bring these worlds together". What a guy!

Would you be interested in an X-Men/Avengers crossover in the future? Sound off below!

Then they will have to reboot. They should know what happened to Andrew Garfield. Marvel wants their MCU to be perfect.

@McU - it's actually not a bad idea to finish X-Men saga after Apocalypse, Legion tv series and Wolverine movie so Fox could make deal with Marvel and reboot the whole universe in like 5 years from now. Still you have to do something with Deadpool and New Mutants and X-force. That's the whole problem. They already wanna start few new trilogies.

God I hope not. I don't want the MCU [frick]ed up by Fox's take on the X-men.

And give the Fanstastic Four rights back to Marvel.

I'd love to see that. The MCU and FOX's X-Men existing together and people being cool with it.

In my dreams.

Would be great to see, but I think it would be best to introduce them in the style of Secret Wars. It would have to be a cross of dimensions or something.

Tim Miller needs to direct more of everything.

Like the Russos, he's a dyed in wool fan that just gets it.

I wonder if Fox and Marvel could somehow work out a deal for just Deadpool to crossover...for a special event film.

How cool would it be for Deadpool to show up, comment on how he doesn't belong in the MCU, kick some ass, and then peace out?
