Disney's most iconic villain, Maleficent, has made her way to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download.  Starring Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, the wickedly fun twist on the classic Sleeping Beauty groseed more than $700 million at the box office worldwide.  The home release includes all-new bonus features, including several deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes to take you behind the scenes of Disney's filmmaking magic. I've included one such clip below with Elle Fanning's "Aurora: Becoming A Beauty."

Maleficent explores the birth of Disney's most iconic villain.  In an unforgiving mood after a neighboring kingdom threatens her forest, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) places an irrevocable curse on the king's newborn daughter, the Princess Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent becomes fond of the girl and as the conflict between the two realms intensifies, Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to bring peace to the land.

With top-notch acting, great music and stunning visual effects, Maleficent is a Blu-ray disc that's worth adding to your collection, or picking up as a gift for the holidays. Although it follows the basic Sleeping Beauty storyline, there are a few twists and turns that make it a film all its own. Definitely one of the best Disney films to day. Angelina Jolie is the perfect villain!

A fun movie. They brought it. I think it's the best of these reimagined Disney movies that have been spilling out lately.

It had huge problems. It really could've been great, had they used more practical effects, and actually given the film a proper villain. Sharlto Copley (Stefan) was all kinds of aweful, and Brenton Thwaites (prince Philip) just compeltely waisted.

The full pardon and immunity of "Yossarian"

A public apology to Yossarian. And the cbm community.

Public humiliation for all who support the Yossarian ban.

@JasonBlue - No, I don't work for Amazon... I actually own CBM. Disney was kind enough to send us a review copy of the film. The Amazon links are just in case anyone wants to purchase ;o)

Absolutely horrible. Written by a woman and obviously so, as the evil malificent becomes a woman whose man dun her wrong. Utter feminist crap, oh yes the woman is pure until she is soiled by the man, but the man who steals her wings does so out of plain selfishness and is depicted as scummy and evil. All of the unredeemable murders she commits are justifiabl cuz a man broke her heart and all is forgiven when that comes to light. Sod off. Perverted the story to feminist garbage.

@batz11

Movie was great, they retconned the classic beauty sleepy story with a tweak to make Maleficent more of an anti-hero than a villain. Effects were great and a fun movie. I give it 7/10.

You should watch it. The guy from District 8 "Wikus" appears here again as a creepy guy. And Angelina is lovely as usual, she totally steals the screen.

Maleficent was hardly the villain in this film, she came up being the hero of the story which is weird since this film was advertised as Maleficent being the villain of the story, sad to see that the animated film had more balls to kill off the actual villain than the live-action film did, I know it's Angelina Jolie and she is magnificent in the role, but I would have liked them to be more true to the animated version.

Surprisingly good movie. Watched it as I had nothing better to watch, turned out to be an enjoyable watch with good SFX and a pretty good story. Give it a chance, it might surprise you too.
