Even if you don't like Tim Burton you have to respect what he has done in Hollywood. What did he do you ask? Tim brought a totally new unique film making vision to the table. Tim taught Hollywood that it was OK to make dark films. Tim's formula has been successful over and over again, and will work yet again March 5, 2010 when 'Alice in Wonderland' hits the silver screen.

Bravo. you hit the nail on the head. i still think batman is his best movie.

as for this movie, if it was a stright-up re-telling of the old classic i'd be down. but instead it's a pseudo-sequel/reimagining. yes it is right up burton's ally. but i think thats why i don't care. i can close my eyes and, gathering everything i know about the tale, practically watch the movie in my head right now. it's TOO up burtons ally. so much so i would care alot more about another directors take on the story. because that would truly be somthing original.

I don't really like Mr.Burton's movie very much, but I alway watch them. I don't expect much from this. So its goin to be a renter for me.

I shall the pre-view at Alvin and the Chimpmunks and I got so excited. I can't wait for this movie!!! Now if Tim Burton can come out with a New Nightmare Before Christmas that would make my life complete lol!!
