DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Featurette And TV Spot Feature Some Intriguing Possible Spoilers

A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness featurette has revealed even more intriguing footage from the upcoming sequel, while a ScreenX TV spot shows us a little more of a certain Variant...

In this newly released featurette for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we hear from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, director Sam Raimi, and actress Elizabeth Olsen. Each of them teases the upcoming blockbuster, though it's footage showing Rachel McAdams' Dr. Christine Palmer Variant that's really got fans talking (especially as many suspect this is actually Clea).

Near the end of the promo, we see Defender Strange being thrown through the Multiverse with America Chavez. That's not a new shot, but finished VFX show the hero covered in nasty cuts across his face that match up with those on the undead Strange seen in trailers for the Doctor Strange sequel.

ScreenX has also released a TV spot hyping up Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and it reveals an even better look at the Scarlet Witch attacking Kamar-Taj. That seems like a rather villainous thing for the Avenger to do, don't you think? An even bigger reveal comes when we see more of Sir Patrick Stewart's Professor X Variant in a wheelchair clearly based on X-Men: The Animated Series!

Take a look at these new promos below:

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Marvel Cinematic Universe unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. We'll journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The movie's cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Loki Head Writer Michael Waldron.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released on May 6.

So… I definitely don’t see any cuts on Defender Strange’s face, and how on Earth do you suppose that Professor X’s chair is a wheelchair “based on the Animated Series!!!!!”…? LMFAO at Josh’s fanboy poor journalism 😂

On instagram. Usually on press tours the main stars and director are all embracing each other and posting happily , but Benedict , Elizabeth and Mr Raimi are all standing just near each other kind of awkward lol

@MisterDoctor217 - Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi are one and the same, has been that way for 40 years...if Bruce comes out and says "movie is a mess, they made Sam remove most of what he wanted to shoot), is because Sam let him do it.

All the leaks were true. All of them.

Between that and recent Bruce Campbell comments...my hype for this movie died.

So I've said before that due to COVID concerns (not just for myself but for the rest of my family, especially my unvaccinated 2 year old) that I wouldn't be seeing this or any other recent movies in the actual theaters, HOWEVER if they were to somehow print out the ticket stubs on acid tabs, I might have to reconsider. I mean, it doesn't even have to be good acid. I'd take blotter. The kid's tough. She can suck it up so that Daddy can enter the Multiverse. For God's sake, I helped conceive her, is that too much to ask? :p
