VIDEO: Rachel McAdams Is Keeping Mum On Her DOCTOR STRANGE Role

Following reports of Rachel McAdams' confirmation that she will be joining Marvel's Doctor Strange, we now have video of that very interview in which she is also pressed about the character she will be playing, but unfortunately it's to no avail. Check it out after the jump!

"I'm gonna go do Doctor Strange, a kind of a psychedelic Marvel comic," said Rachel McAdams when The Wrap asked about her next project at the Toronto International Film Festival. "So yeah, [it's] with Benedict Cumberbatch, so I'm really looking forward to that." However, when asked if she could reveal her role, which is speculated to be either Clea or Night Nurse, McAdams remained tight-lipped. "I don't know if I can," she replied, after pondering the possibility. Only time will tell.

In the meantime, expect more Doctor Strange casting announcements as we get closer to the commencement of filming in London this November. Anyhow, the Marvel adaptation is directed by Scott Derrickson, and so far stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Stephen Strange), Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Mordo), Tilda Swinton (Ancient One), and potentially Mads Mikkelsen. And Doctor Strange is scheduled to be released in theaters on  November 4, 2016. What do you think?

Cannot wait for this now. Cumberbatch didn't sell me on it, as I wanted Luke Evans, but Derrick son as the director, Swinton being cast, and now one of my favourite actresses in McAdams. Sorry Suicide Squad, you've been overtaken for 5th place on my anticipation list for 2016.

I'm just not familiar enough with the characters in Suicide Squad. I'm eagerly awaiting Leto AND Robbie as Joker and Harley, but the rest are just kinda there for me.

Why not? Since they know they want to introduce Dr. Strange in Iron Fist. They don't have a director, showrunner, script, or even actor for Iron Fist, but they know they want Cumberbatch or his voice to be introduced.

That'd be cool but no. Natalie Dormer should be Carol. I still wish McAdams was playing Jean Grey. She's so gorgeous as a redhead.

I'm just hoping that the Dr. Strange film actually resembles the comic, because the casting and the rumors all sound pretty unfamiliar.

Never read the comics and the trailer didn't sell it one bit, add in will smith, a character called captain boomerang and some no name actors. I'll pass thanks.
