Could a Greek assassin be the female action franchise-sparker that Lara Croft wasn't? We're not sure, but we know that she's getting some interesting supporting casting to surround her. We reported last week that Terence Stamp had signed on, and now two more names are involved. The first, and hottest, will be taking the part of the villain of the piece, Typhoid Mary. And that person is...model-actress Natassia Malthe, who you may remember from roles such as "Girl in Bed" in 40 Days and 40 Nights and "Redhead at Party" on TV's Dark Angel. In other words, she's a gorgeous woman with something to prove in terms of stardom, which means an FHM shoot is sure to follow. Sigh. Anyway, also signing on is ER's Goran Visnjic, also known as the very poor man's George Clooney. Visnjic will play a man targeted for assassination by the Hand, which is the wicked evil association that resurrects and recruits Elektra, only to have her fall for her target's handsomeness. Man, if we had a nickel for every time that happened to us...
