ETERNALS Deleted Scenes See Dane Whitman Learn About The Deviants As Sprite And Makkari Reminisce

Two new deleted scenes for Eternals have been released featuring a fun look at how the immortal heroes have affected history along with Makkari and Sprite looking back at their time living in Babylon...

Eternals arrives on Disney+ this Wednesday, and Marvel Studios has shared a couple of deleted scenes from the movie. The first sees Kit Harington's Dane Whitman schooled by Sprite on how much the Eternals and Deviants have affected human history, with many of the items in that museum actually tied to the immortals in some way, shape, or form.

A little more Dane in the movie would have been appreciated, but this scene wasn't missed too badly and was summarised quite nicely during his later conversation with Sersi and Sprite near the canal.

The second deleted scene features a touching conversation between Sprite and Makkari as the former looks back at their time in Babylon. Thanos receives a mention (who knew that was the ASL sign for the Mad Titan?), but again, this is just a nice moment that ultimately wasn't needed in a movie that was already very long.

More of Eternals' deleted scenes will be available on Digital platforms this Wednesday (including Disney+), but based on the previous descriptions, we're not expecting anything too Earth-shattering. A sequel still hasn't been announced, so when we'll see these characters again remains a mystery.

Check out both deleted scenes from Eternals below:

I know you have to get exposition out but this was rough.

I will watch this but my expectations of it being any good are at an all time low.

@marvel72 - Its a good movie, just not the usual street level superhero spectacle we expect from Marvel.

@marvel72 - It is a good movie. It is just different in terms of style and pacing than the other MCU movies. And when I say different, I don't mean bad different, just different. I thought it was a nice breath of fresh air from the tried and true MCU formula. It's probably the most divisive MCU movie mainly for that reason.

Kit was one of the better aspects of this lifeless film.

Think this is a great scene that acts as a better introduction to Sprite in modern day and better established early on her feelings on humanity, as well as gives us more of Dane’s likability and feelings for Sersi
