Eternals was supposed to have been released in theaters last November, so it's no real shock that another leak from the Marvel Studios production is dominating social media today. This might be minor compared to that recently revealed promo art, but Hasbro's Marvel Legends Ikaris action figure reveals a much closer, more detailed look at Richard Madden's superhero suit.
A recent description for Ikaris revealed that he's the leader of the team, and the most powerful Eternal. His powers include strength, flight, and the ability to project cosmic energy from his eyes.
That last ability is full display thanks to this figure, and Ikaris' emergence is certain to lead to a major shift in the MCU when it comes to who lays claim to being this shared world's most powerful hero. Captain Marvel and the Scarlet Witch currently fight it out for that title, but it could soon belong to this ancient Eternal.
Marvel Studios surely would've preferred comic book fans getting a first real look at these characters via a trailer or some officially released stills and posters. However, given how great these costumes are, it's hard to imagine those familiar with these heroes being anything other than psyched after seeing this.
