Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington is set to make his MCU debut as Dane Whitman in Marvel's Eternals, but we're still not sure if his character will follow his comic book counterpart by suiting-up as the Black Knight.
Harington has skilfully avoided questions about his MCU future by making it very clear that Whitman is just a "normal man" with no special abilities, but it would be a little odd for Marvel Studios to cast such a well-known actor in this role if there were no plans in place for him to power-up at some point.
Now, some new Eternals merchandise has found its way online (via the Kit Harington Updates Twitter page), and it provides our first real hint that Whitman will indeed take up the mantle of the Black Knight.
As you can see, this accessory set includes a ring with the Raven emblem the hero wears on his chest in the comics. The Twitter page also dug up some old set photos, and it looks like Harington has this ring (or at least, one very like it) on his finger. This doesn't confirm anything, of course, but there is speculation that the ring could be a family heirloom passed down through the generations, and Whitman's involvement with the Eternals (or Sersi, more specifically) will somehow ignite his long-dormant powers.
