A Squirrel Girl Movie? This Writer Wrote One!

A Squirrel Girl Movie? This Writer Wrote One!

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Expirasin, and after three years of shortcomings with evil employers, TV screenwriting contests and fellowships, I've finally found my way with a completed screenplay for... Squirrel Girl! You know, Squirrel Girl? Marvel's hottest member of the Great Lakes Avengers?

I'm fully aware of Marvel's customs and even their potential fellowship, but I'm quite tired of my "know-HOW" being outdone by my lack of "know-WHO". This script needs legal representation and management, that's why I'm seeking online exposure to not only bring about word-of-mouth, but also if anything, bridge the gap between the upcoming reboots and recycles in the superhero movie industry with some fresh, new stuff.

Anyway, here's a YouTube video describing the official screenplay's site:

Anna Farris is very hot, but a little older, I was thinking more of an Emily Osment type of look. But very cool though!

Expirasin @ This girl don't look old enough for SQUIRREL GIRL?? Who is she? Someone from the DISNEY Channel? she does have the look though, i'll give you that!

LC @ Stop stalking me lol, and go to your own sites! ; D

Actually she's just about the right age. About 17, 5'2" (Squirrel Girl's official height) and she's Haley Joel Osment's sister.

Good enough for me! Just a suggestion though. Got more suggestions on the poll for www.doreengreen.com

Holy crud where did that war squirrel come from?

And yeah, I am evil, probably more so insane, for doing this. But I need work, and if I can help the comic book movie world, that'll make it worth it.

What better way to kick off the Disney / Marvel merger than with the destroyer of all that breathes?

Bigger fan base? Of course. But fan base wasn't what I was looking for. My motivation was if I could write a movie (and a good one) about a character less popular, then it would prove to any studio out there that I can write anything.

I always see more potential in the lesser known. Squirrel Girl doesn't even have her own self-titled comic cover, and if that's not potential I don't know what is. No fanboy can criticize the content because there wasn't much to predict to begin with (Like with the Green Hornet script).

Cool, huh?

VERY COOL! Expirasin don't let anything or anyone stop
you from striving to make a noise 'cause the squeaky wheel
gets the grease! But it's really tough to get a spec
script into Hollyweerd anymore 'cause they usually
start with a property or idea THEN look for someone
to hire to write it into screenplay form!

If Marvel ever decided to do something with Squirrel
Girl they probably would look for an established
scriptwriter to work it into script form.

But never quit striving! Ya never know!

Speaking of which, you probably just ought to get Miley Cyrus to play squirrel girl. She already has squirrel teeth.

@DDD I know, right? Specs in the industry nowadays are either miracles, or cancelled pilots for NBC!

And let's hope if I get the chance to pitch this thing, that'll put me one step ahead of "Mr. Ass-tablished"!

Kudos for trying to break into the biz man, but I gotta say Squirrel Girl is Ditko's biggest piece of satire. So unless it's written as a send up of the super hero genre I don't see it going far.

With so many other charaters in Marvel's vault I can't see them even thinking about doing a Squirrel Girl movie.
