Barb Wire FAN CAST

Barb Wire FAN CAST

Despite what you might think of the movie, Barb Wire was one of the earliest comic book movies to stick pretty close to the source material and I don't think it was as bad as everyone remembers or assumed it was. That said, it's not the best CBM, but it's certainly not the worst.

In Steel Harbor, a bombed-out wreck of a town, thrill-junkie Barbara Kopetski - better known as "Barb Wire" - is a bar owner and part-time bounty hunter (in order to pay for her bar, The Hammerhead). She is skilled in many areas, but excels in combat-related abilities. While she has a brother and several allies, she is essentially a loner, although this is something which is uncomfortable for her to think about.

truthfully, the original Barb Wire's main flaw was terrible acting. it was shockingly true to the comic it was based. the movie itself wasn't terrible and i might be interested if a remake kept the same vibe but was better acted.

I could see Robert Rodriguez more than Paul Verhoeven and I don't mean any disrespect to the man because he loves his violence and trash and "Barb Wire" is that, but Rodriguez would just make a more stylistic and more fun movie than Paul ever could.

Not to mention, Paul is not a "in" director anymore. Rodriguez is.

Robert Rodriguez would be great!

Pretty good cast but AMBER HEARD is too skinny
and small-boobed for BARB.

I would like to see ALICE EVE in the role.

The script for the first one was good but the
acting and directing were pretty amateurish.

Verhoeven is a bit outmoded and dated to direct
this. People's suggestion of ROBERT RODRIGUEZ is
right on the money!

I like the design work Verhoeven uses in his films like Total Recall and Starship Troopers.
