It’s hard to find anyone that can debate as eloquently and passionately as a comic book fan. Here we have the perfect forum for just such a deliberation. Now's the time to put that otherwise useless wealth of knowledge to work! Our second match-up:

Powers and Abilities:

Doctor Strange (Stephen Strange) - A master magician and the holder of the title of "Sorcerer Supreme" for many years. He can use magic to achieve a number of effects, such as energy projection;[57] teleportation;[58] telepathy;[2] astral projection[59] and the creation of materials, such as food[60] and water.[61] He is capable of creating even planet-wide effects, such as a protective shield.[62] When casting a spell the character is often written to be invoking the name of a mystical entity, such as one of the Vishanti or the group the Octessence. These entities usually lend their power to a particular effect, such as the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak that he can use to entrap foes.

Adam Warlock (HIM) - He possesses a number of superhuman properties and powers derived from his artificially determined genetic structure. His bone and muscle tissue is denser than human, endowing him with superhuman strength and resilience. Among his body's special adaptations is an enclave of cells able to tap and transform cosmic energy for personal use. Warlock could use this energy to enhance his physical strength, endurance, and powers of recuperation. He could also employ cosmic energy to negate the force of gravity beneath him, enabling him to fly. In an Earth-like atmosphere, Warlock was able to attain the speed of sound. He could use this “Quantum Magic” to locate and enter natural space-warps (discontinuities in the fabric of space) in order to traverse interstellar space. He can also project cosmic energy from his hands as concussive force.

Basic rules:

1. We are not discussing the ethics behind why they are fighting, only that they ARE fighting.

2. This is an all-out brawl with only one winner. No draws.

3. No one want s to hear “But if he didn’t have THIS power, then. . ”, so
keep that B.S. out of the discussion.

Too close to call, the original Warlock I believe would kick the original Stranges butt. Strange has grown unbelievably powerfull over the years (Way more powerfull than he started out,) while Warlock has gone the opposite dirrection. Today -- Strange wins. Years ago---Warlock hands down.

Infinity Gauntlet is the bomb. Best crossover ever, and you didnt have to buy every comic published just to follow it.
