INTRO: Based on Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man
The story opens with Norman Osborn making a new Spider-Man spider. These events take place after my 6 Spider-Man films (posting soon). The Spider crawls into the bag of Prowler as he steals from a secure safe containing the research on the spider. Miles Morales, a timid African-American/Hispanic grade schooler living in Brooklyn, is accepted through a lottery into a charter school as one of the lucky few chosen. He goes to visit his Uncle Aaron (Prowler) to tell him, even though his father forbids him to see his uncle. The spider created by Norman Osborn that hid in Aaron's bag (when he was stealing from OsCorp as the Prowler) gets out, bites Miles who convulses and passes out. Aaron calls Miles's dad, who yells at Aaron; Miles runs out, only to discover he can turn invisible.
After running through the streets and learning he is faster, stronger, and can temporarily paralyze people with a sting-like ability that comes out of his hands, Miles goes to visit his friend and tell him about his powers. His friend Ganke suggests that he may be a mutant. Miles's dad then shows up, he takes Miles to the park where he explains that he doesn't like Miles being around Aaron because he is a thief, and that he himself had actually gone to jail for stealing when he was younger. Later that night, Ganke texts him, saying that Spider-Man was bit by a spider too, so maybe Miles is another Spider-Man. Miles climbs onto his wall using just his fingertips and toes, confirming that he's met the same origin fate as Spider-Man. Miles later tests his powers by saving a young girl from a burning apartment complex. After saving the little girl, he retreats to the alley and vomits.
The villain of the story is Electro who escapes prison and Miles (in his new black and red suit) tries to stop his rampage. Electro nearly kills Miles but, he eventually stops Electro and returns him to custody. At the end Green Goblin finds out about Miles and plots to kill him.
Cast:
Jaden Smith (Karate Kid, The Day the Earth Stood Still) as Miles Morales/Ultimate Spider-Man
He is a talented actor and can beat people up (as shown in Karate Kid).
Many think he's not a great fit for a CBM but he'd do Miles justice.
Terry Crews (Get Smart, The Expendables)as Prowler/Uncle Aaron
He is perfect for Aaron and would make a great Prowler. He could add a funny side to Aaron.
Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family, Epic Movie) as Ganke
I know Rico is not Asian but, he could play an amazing Ganke.
John C. McGinley (Scrubs, Platoon) as Electro
He could bring a true dark sarcastic sense to Electro that he has in the comics. I think he's a perfect fit. He also plays Electro in my Spider-Man films
Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, Mystic River) as Miles' father]
He would make a great dad, and looks a bit like the father in the comics.
Sophia Vergara (Modern Family, Four Brothers)as Rio Morales (Mother of Miles)
I know it's weird to have 2 Modern Family actors and 2 Four Brothers actors but she fits this role in how she looks and would make a nice addition to this cast.
Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy, Transformers: Dark of the Moon) as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin
Has the looks and skills to portray Norman Osborn
Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy, Death Sentence, Four Brothers)as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Talented actor who is young enough to portray a slightly older Spider-Man
