1. J'onn J'onzz
Brian White is a really great actor known particularly from Stomp the Yard and The Family Stone. I think he just has the look (minus the green skin) to play J'onn. I think he could humanize him a little and add a slight comedic performance so that he can appeal to audiences.
2. Green Latern
Laz Alonso is known from Break Out Kings and Jarhead. He's also a very good actor known pretty well in the black community. I think that it is important to have an actor in that role who can appeal to audiences of all races. He has the look and also the voice to pull off John Stewart.
3. Wonder Woman
This one took the longest for me to think of because Wonder Woman is so iconic and has a very specific look and personality. I originally thought of Christina Hendricks but thought she might not look so good with black hair and also Emilia Clarke (who I thought might be too short) and even Megan Fox (just no). But I landed on Eva Green because she is known for playing bad ass female characters and I think she could do something special with the role to finally make it a success.
4. Superman
Man of Steel. Enough Said.
5. Batman
Batman has always looked like Superman to me in the cartoons and stuff and I thought that was important because they are sort of Ying to each other's Yang. Batman is the dark knight and Superman is literally powered by the sun. Plus I adore Matt Bomer. He has the perfect brooding face and a darkness to him. I thought he would be perfect even before Henry Cavill was cast. I think Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill together as Bruce and Clark would be magical.
6. Flash
I chose Jean Luc Bilodeau. He looks exactly like what I picture Wally to look like in real life. He is a bit younger but I think that works since they did that in JLU as well. I just think that there are so many adult characters that it is essential to have a younger, fresher energy in the pack as well. Plus he is funny and charming in his role on Baby Daddy so I think he would make a great Flash.
7. Hawkgirl
As soon as I saw Evan Rachel Wood with red hair I thought of her as Hawkgirl. She had a sensuality and a rawness about her in her performance on True Blood that I thought would be gerat for Hawkgirl. And Evan Rachel Wood is one of the most talented actresses of this generation, though a little underrated.
So these are my picks! Tell me what you think!
