FAN PIC: Thor Teaser Poster

You have to give it to us fanboys, that if there are things lacking we try to fill it up.

Like where the heck is the teaser poster for Thor, we've been waiting a long time for it. Enters a fanboy who is good in photoshop and voila a Thor teaser. This is what an article from mania reports:

Frequent and long-time C2F contributor AntoBlueberry pointed us to a purported 'Thor' teaser poster that's making the rounds on message boards. Apparently the story is that the image was handed to a popular blog site by a "reliable" source. The bloggers are understandably wary of posting it as they haven't confirmed its authenticity yet.

After examining the poster Comics2Film at Mania.com can say with certainty that it is a fan-generated photo manipulation. The poster is a nice bit of photoshopping but really lacks the polish and impact a good teaser poster for a Marvel movie would have.

Aside from a few potentially unnatural elements (the hair and the cape are definitely suspect) we managed to uncover the smoking gun that proves this was cobbled together from pre-existing images and painted up in Photoshop, rather than the product of Marvel studios.

The reason we're so sure? The hammer is the most obvious clue.

--- But in all fairness the poster does look well made. I hope this pushes Marvel to release an Official one soon.

Supermarioworld@, The ancient Viking warriors wore long hair and they were about as manly as a guy can get! Long hair does not make a guy unmanly! I dare you to go up to Triple H and tell him right to his face his long hair makes him unmanly!!! :D

@DDD, Well, I do think Triple H looks like a sissy with the hair, but I sure as hell wouldn't tell him that to his face!

BTW, Wrestling in general has nothing to do with manliness anymore. WWE is a male soap opera with bad actors.

it's certainly a cool pic, but I can't see any one actually believing it was real.

So, Supermario, you think a 6'4" Muscular Triple H looks like a sissy and any man looks like a sissy with long hair! And a woman should have long hair but if she has short hair she's less than a woman and all men should have short cropped hair to look manly or they're gay or something!

What a bunch of horse apples! Let me guess you brought your narrow-minded attitude in here with knuckles you drag on the ground!

I'm not saying all men with long hair look like sissies. I'm saying that most wrestlers look like sissies to me. And it's not just because of the long hair!

I stand corrected Supermario@! You're right wrestlers do look sissy 'cause they're just a bunch of fakes acting out a very badly written and acted soap opera.

glad we can agree on the sissy-ness of wrestlers
