Moon Knight would make a fantastic television series. Starting with the origin of the character beginning with his mercenary days with Frenchie and Raoul Bushman before moving onto his crime fighting days in New York. So far I hav included some of the main villains from Moench but also the Marc Spector: Moon Knight's run. Here is how I would cast the series:
MOON KNIGHT
Henry Cavill as Marc Spector
(The Tudors, Blood Creek)
A younger Marc Spector that fits into the origin story. He's also millionaire Steven Grant and cab driver Jake Lockley. Even though I really like the new run (beginning with Huston's arc) I don't think he has gone crazy yet in his earlier stories.
Henry Cavill is a promising actor that seems to has a serious look to him. I think he will be a great fit to Marc Spector.
SUPPORTING CAST
Rachel McAdams as Marlene
(Mean Girls, Sherlock Holms)
An important part of the origin story and the girlfriend. Also someone who can hold her own in a fight.
Rachel McAdams has the looks, and can play sweet, sexy, tough and downright mean. She would be great as Marlene.
Tomer Sisley as Frenchie
(French Film Largo Winch)
Spector's partner in crime in his mercenary days and later when he became Moon Knight.
Tomer Sisley is tall, thin and French, just as Frenchie is in the Moon Knight comics.
VILLAINS
Michael Jai White as Bushman
(Blood and Bones, Undisputed 2)
The major villain in the series.
Michael Jai White can be menacing on screen and has a commanding presence as well. I think he will do the character justice.
Paul Walker as Carson Knowles
(The Fast and the Furious)
AKA Black Spectre, Moon Knight's nemesis.
Paul Walker can easily play the arrogant mayoral candidate who is also Moon Knight's nemesis
Steve Buscemi as Midnight Man
(Reservoir Dogs)
A Moon Knight villain.
A one time villain but is an important part of the story in relation to Midnight
Nick Stahl as Jeff Wilde
(Carnivale, Terminator 3)
AKA Midnight. Midnight Man's son who became the unfortunate sidesick of Moon Knight. He would later return as a villain.
I think Nick Stahl can play both the eager sidekick of Moon Knight and also the creepy supervillain who later reemerges well
Robert Patrick as Morpheus
(Terminator 2, X-Files)
Moon Knight's sleepless villain.
Robert Patrick as the disturbing villain Morpheus
Julianne Moore as Stainglass Scarlett
(Boogie Knights)
The nun turned vigilant.
Julianne Moore as the mysterious red headed villain with a bond to Moon Knight
OTHER CHARACTERS
Tom Waits as Crawley, MK's main street contact.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Gena, MK's contact at the diner.
Gena Rolands as Nedda, Marc's maid in the Mansion.
Sam Neill as Dr. Peter Alraune, Marlene's father who is an important part of the origin story. Killed by Bushman in Sudan.
I think Moon Knight is a great street level superhero. It has a great cast of characters and rogue gallery. Perhaps they can throw in some supervillains from the Marvel Universe once in a while to spice things up.
