FANCAST: X-Men - A New Trilogy

Yeah, I'm kinda over the recent X-Men film franchise. Example: I don't know Mystique that well, but I didn't like the fact that they required her in First Class to demand a push to the Brotherhood. So, instead of doing whatever to keep her on the up and up, Professor X allows her to become a terrorist? But hey, I'm just being a nerd. And I want to see the below happen before I die.



Anyway, let me check your cast out.

- Not feeling Chris Pine as Cyclops. I'd like an actor who can deliver the heart and soul of the character, someone who can break your heart for an adaptation of the Dark Phoenix saga. My pick would be Jared Padalecki.
- Nah, Mark Wahlberg may be good at playing angry, but he doesn't have the proper voice. He'd be great as Deadpool, though, since he's been tackling comedies as of late. What do you think of Stephen Dorff?
- Your Storm and Beast choices aren't that original, although Joshua Jackson can nail intellectual!
- Deborah Ann Woll is definitely a go-to pick for Jean Grey!
- Definitely feeling Fonseca for Rogue. She has the ass for it!
- Not gonna hate on you for picking Ian as Gambit. MrBlueSky tells me he was born in Louisiana, so that makes him perfect for me.
- Hold up, fella. Colossus is the same age as Kitty, and is a foot and taller than Shadowcat. How about either Armie Hammer or Liam Hemsworth.
- John Slattery may be Jewish, but he doesn't have a European look befitting of Magneto. And your pick for the character has to be taller than Terry O'Quinn. Either Anthony Head or Liam Neeson would fit the bill.
- Ooh, I somehow like Chastain for Mystique. She's a little on the short side though.
- I think you need a slightly taller actor for Sabretooth, someone who's probably 3 or more inches. You have the right idea, though, because I've seen Schulze play psychos, like in Transporters.
- I think Alice Eve could use another shot to play Emma Frost. Maybe she can if January Jones is saying "[frick] it" to the role.
- I'm not familiar with your Juggernaut pick, but I checked his height, and you kinda fell off the mark. Juggy is 6'10"!
- Tired of seeing Tom Felton as Quicksilver. Let's be original. And where's the Scarlet Witch?

The cast is a little off whack, but there's some good ones. How about checking out my fancast for Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt while you're at it?

Dig a lot of your Brotherhood choices. Your X-Men aren't bad either but I've seen better.
