I originally started this with the intention of casting the original Heroes for Hire. But, after toying around with it for a few days. I decided to go ahead and cast the newest version of Heroes for Hire instead. This took awhile, and is probably the hardest I’ve ever worked on a fan cast ever. Hope you enjoy.
Heroes for Hire
GHOST RIDER.
Johnny Blaze is Ghost Rider, former motorcycle stunt driver who now fights injustice as an undead vigilante with the powers cursed upon him by an Angel known as Zadkiel in the most recent Origin. Ghost Rider is one of the most powerful beings on earth.
MICHAEL C. HALL
I first started watching Michael C. Hall in the HBO series Six Feet Under, great show by the way. Michael C. Hall played the in the closet undertaker trying to live up to his fathers name. His performance in that show blew me away. After that, he signed on to play Dexter in the Showtime TV show of the same name. He plays a cold, calculating serial killer, who just happens to be a cop investigating his own murders. Now, to be honest, these are the only two things I’ve ever seen him in. But, I really don’t think I need anything else because he is awesome in both these shows.
Born in 1971.
Starred in:
Six Feet Under
Dexter
Gamer
Paycheck
ELEKTRA
Elektra Nachios is Daredevil's most fearsome enemy as well as his former lover. But she is most renowned as being the greatest assassin in the World.
RHONA MITRA
Ok. So I’m a big fan of Boston Legal. But, very little of her character in that show screams Elektra to me, aside from her being a total bitch. Now, Doomsday is probably one of my all time favorite “senseless violence” type movies, and Rhona’s role in that screams Elektra to me. That mixed with her role in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, as the daughter of the bad guy, lover of the good guy, makes her perfect to play this role.
Born in 1976.
Starred in:
Beowulf
Nip/Tuck
Shooter
Skinwalkers
The Number 23
Shooter
MOON KNIGHT.
Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley: different aspects of the same man. Resurrected by Khonshu, the Egyptian Lunar God of Vengeance and Justice as his "Avatar".
JENSEN ACKLES
Jensen is one of those actors that is really, really good for a whole lot of roles. The role of Moon Knight is just one of them. I wanted him as Captain America. Than, I wanted him as Hawkeye. We see how that turned out, so I’ll take him as Moon Knight and be happy.
Born in 1978.
Starred in:
Supernatural
My Bloody Valentine
Dawson’s Creek
Smallville
Batman: Under the Red Hood
IRON FIST
The latest in a long line of warriors known as Iron Fist, Danny Rand delivers vigilante justice.
SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT
I know, this is a weird choice. But, for some reason, I’ve always wanted Seann to play this part. After seeing Bulletproof Monk. I know, that with a little training he could do this role masterfully.
Born in 1976.
Starred in:
Final Destination
The Rundown
Bulletproof Monk
The Dukes of Hazzard
THE PUNISHER
Born in the fires of war and baptized in the deaths of his family, Frank Castle began to fight a one-man war. He has become the deadliest vigilante to ever walk the earth, the Punisher.
JOE MANGANIELLO
This dude doesn’t really stand out to me, never has. I know a lot of people on CBM want him for Superman. But, I just don’t see it. I remember him from Spiderman, and I remember him from Running Scared even though for some reason it’s not on IMDB. He’s an all right actor, but he doesn’t scream anything “Main Star” to me. So I put him as the punisher, teamed up with all of these other people. I figure he can pull it off.
PALADIN
A (usually) benevolent mercenary who often works with superheroes and flirts with superheroines; he wears custom body armor, night vision goggles and a stun gun. He recently was a part of Norman Osborn's black ops Thunderbolts team, but left when it was disbanded. His real name is unknown.
HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN
This Star Wars actor, pretty much dropped off the radar after well, Star Wars. He did Jumper, which was an o.k. movie. But other than that hasn’t really done anything else. Which is why he’s perfect for the role of this guy I know nothing about, who seems to have no depth as a character, and as far as I can tell is just there for filler.
Born in 1980.
Starred in:
The Virgin Suicides
Life as a House
Star Wars: Episode 2 and 3
Jumper
MISTY KNIGHT
Misty Knight is a former New York cop with a bionic arm, martial arts skills, and an attitude. She runs Heroes for Hire with Colleen Wing.
ZOE SALDANA
Zoe Saldana is one of them actresses that I just love. I’ve adored her in everything I’ve seen her in. She always has that “I’m a bad ass, deal with it” attitude, and that’s something I adore her in. From “Star Trek” to “The Losers.” This girl has shown that she has what it takes to pull off any bad girl role. Which is why she’s perfect for Misty Knight.
Born in 1978.
Starred in:
Death at a Funeral
Star Trek
Avatar
The Losers
FALCON
Empowered by Evil, inspired by Good, Sam Wilson's bleak and disillusioned outlook on life was wiped away the day he met Steve Rogers aka Captain America. He now uses his wings, combat prowess, and avian telepathy as the Falcon, defender of Harlem and partner of Captain America
SHEMAR MOORE
Will Smith was my original choice to play the Falcon. But, with the previous cast, he’s just a little too old. Not to mention he’s one of the biggest names in Hollywood and shouldn’t/wouldn’t have to share the screen with so many other actors. Shemar Moore is a good actor. I wanted him for Luke Cage but, I will take him as Falcon.
Born in 1970.
Starred in:
Criminal Minds
Diary of a Mad Black Woman
Birds of Prey
Chasing Alice
