In my fan cast I have chosen actors and actresses in the main roles for upcoming Marvel movies "Ant-Man" and "Guardians of the Galaxy". I have also cast a couple of characters that I hope will appear in future Marvel movies.
Henry 'Hank' Pym/Ant-Man
A lot of people like the idea of Nathan Fillion playing Hank but I have never agreed with that. I have two actors that I'd like to see in the role. I also have only cast actors in the role of Pym because I don't like the idea of Scott Lang being in an Ant-Man movie as to me Pym is the true Ant-Man and I'd love to see him join the Avengers Roster by hopefully phase 3. Anyway here are the two actors I have chosen:
Philip Winchester (Tv shows Strike Back and Crusoe). He is not a big name star but after seeing him in these two shows I think he would make a great Hank Pym. Especially after watching him in the role of Robinson Crusoe in the tv series Crusoe. Check out some clips on YouTube and see what I mean. The character is very smart and an inventor, characteristics that are obviously close to Hank. I know that he is not a big name actor and Marvel will most likely cast a bigger name, but I think sometimes roles don't have to go to the big stars, just actors that can do justice to the roles, which I think Winchester can.
Patrick Wilson (Watchmen, Prometheus). His role as Owl man in Watchmen to me had similar characteristics to Hank and I also think Wilson has a good look for Pym. Patrick Wilson is my second choice as I'd really like to see Philip Winchester (Above) play Hank, but I have chosen Wilson for a bigger name actor.
Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp
Mila Kunis (Ted, Book of Eli). Some of you may not agree with this choice but I think she could play a great quirky Janet. A lot of characters in CBMs lately are made dark and serious, but I think a quirky Janet would bring a good dynamic to the Marvel universe, especially if she joins the Avengers roster in later films.
Peter Quill/Starlord
Jensen Ackles (Supernatural). Jensen was a lot of fans choice for Steve Rogers/Captain America before Chris Evans was picked for the role, although I do think he would have done well in that role, I think he is much more suited for the role of Starlord. He has the cockiness and the leader qualities, much like he plays through his character Dean in the supernatural series, he also has the humour that will go well in the Marvel universe. Im a big fan of Supernatural, I know that some people arent, but when I watch it I do think that Jensen would play an awesome Starlord.
Drax the Destroyer
Vin Diesel (Riddick series, Fast & Furious series). Although Vin has expressed interest in playing The Vision I believe he would be much more suited in the role of Drax. He can definitely get into the physical shape that Drax needs and also I think his voice would be fantastic for the character. This role has some similar characteristics to Riddick but Id like to see Vin bulk up, go green and kick some arse.
Gamora
Gina Carano (Haywire). I know Gina seems to be a popular fan cast for a lot of female CBM characters but for my fan cast I have chosen her for the Role of Gamora. I feel Gamora has to be tough and whoever plays her should not just put on a tough act, but actually be tough! Gina has the physical look and after seeing her in Haywire I think she could give the tough portrayal that Gamora needs on screen.
Rocket Racoon
Greg Ellis (Voiced Rocket Raccoon in Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode 'Michael Korvac'). I know most likely Marvel will cast a bigger name for the role, but I think the voice that Ellis used to voice Rocket in Avengers Earth's Mightiest Hereos would be perfect.
Groot
Troy Baker (Voiced Groot in Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode 'Michael Korvac') same with Greg Ellis, I think the voice that Baker used for Groot's one line "I am Groot" on Earth's Mightiest Heroes would be great on screen.
Phyla-Vell/Quasar
Rachel Taylor (transformers). I know Quasar is not on the roster for the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie but If Quasar was to eventually turn up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think Taylor would be great in the role.
Adam Warlock
Jared Padelecki (Supernatural). Same with Quasar, Warlock is not to be in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie but if he was to show up in a sequel I think Padelecki would be a great choice for Warlock. I'd love to see him on the big screen with his Supernatural brother Jensen in the space epic. He can play the mysterious role well as he has in the TV Series.
Richard Rider/Nova
Chris Pine (Star trek). Not much to say on this one, I just think Chris Pine would be good in the Role of Nova. Whether Nova appears in a future GOTG movie or in his own movie, I'd like to see Pine in the role. Although I do have the same concerns I have with Vin Diesel playing Drax, in that Chris Pine plays a similar role in another movie (I feel Kirk has some similar characteristics to Rider, also another space movie), I would still like to see Pine play Nova.
T'Challa/Black Panther
Many actors have put their hands up for Black Panther and other fan casts have chosen some of those actors, but my choice is probably someone you havent heard of.
Tongayi Chirisa ('Crusoe' TV Series). Tongayi will pretty much be an unknown to a lot of you and your'e most likely thinking "who the hell is this guy". I suggest like I do for Philip Winchester that you check out the Crusoe TV series (it isnt the best show, but for the sake of seeing why I have cast Tongayi as T'Challa and Philip Winchester as Hank, it is a good watch). After I watched the series I could see him playing the role of the Black Panther, his voice sounds similar to portrayals of Black Panther in any of his cartoon appearances. He would obviously have to bulk up a little (like most actors do) but he is definitely my pick for T'Challa.

Carol Danvers/Ms Marvel
Sienna Miller (G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra). This one I do not have as much justification as I have given for my other choices, this is basically just the fact that I'd love to see Sienna Miller in the Ms Marvel costume ... Oh yeah and I do think she could play a good Ms Marvel!
The Vision
Billy Crudup (Watchmen) I imagine if the vision was to turn up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he would be a complete CGI role much like the Hulk in the Avengers. My casting is for a voice role: Billy Crudup who played Dr Manhattan in Watchmen. With enhancements made to his voice to sound more like an android I think that Crudup's voice would be perfect for Vision. Obviously it would take a bit for The Vision to be included in any Marvel movie as Ultron has to be introduced first, but I hope its sooner rather than later as The Vision is a very interesting character to me and Id love to see him on the Avengers roster on the big screen.
Balder
Liam Hemsworth (The Expendables 2, The Hunger Games). I'd really like to see Balder turn up in a future Thor movie. I was hoping before I had seen 'Thor' that he would be there and again when 'the Dark World' was announced, so I hope that by Thor 3 (you know theyll make it haha that he is included in the movie. I've seen Liam Hemsworth cast in the role of Balder in some other fan casts before and I completely agree. Who better to play Thor's (half) brother then Hemsworth's actual brother?

Some of my casting choices have been used by other fan casts before and it's great to see others feel the same as me, but I'd just like to say that I've tried to be as original as possible and these are all casts I think would be great on the big screen for Marvel.
