Finally, the next chapter of my MCU is here! Here is my take on Daredevil, for the sequel, and first chapter in my MCU since "The Warriors."
I know i've been throwing out fancasts lately, but that's mainly because i already had most of them ready for a long time, and i have the next run of my MCU already good to go, which will introduce 2 new heroes, and also see a sequel to my Moon Knight franchise. Including this, there are 5 films upcoming in my MCU! I can't wait to release them, but for now, here is the next part, "Daredevil II: The Man Without Fear"
Daredevil II: The Man Without Fear
Picking up right after "The Warriors", we start off with a flashback of Elektra’s parents, from their troubling marriage to their mysterious death, although Christina Natchios dies, her baby survives and so does Hugo Natchios. He names her “Elektra”. In present day Hells Kitchen, it’s revealed that the vigilante activities have been at a surprising low of late. Daredevil has disappeared, because he has gone to Japan to seek further training from Stick, leader of the Chaste. Several months later Murdock returns to find out from Ben Urich that the serial killer who can kill with seemingly any object is still at large, and a mysterious man has over taken what used to be Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire. This man is seen telling a woman an assassination attempt he wants her to complete. However, he doesn’t give her her pay, and seemingly kills her when he throws her out a window. She is found by Daredevil, and he soon recognizes her as his old college flame, Elektra Natchios. They soon start teaming up attempting to rid the city of crime. The mysterious man who has taken over Kingpin’s empire is soon revealed to be Mister Fear, who was last seen at the end of “The Warriors” sitting in Kingpin’s old chair. He picks up a phone and stresses he needs “the job” done tonight. This man is also the man who can kill with any object. He is nicknamed “Bullseye”, but misses for the very first time when attempting to kill Daredevil from a distance. When confronting them, he soon attempts to stab Elektra, but instead stabs Daredevil. Elektra is forced to battle him alone, and Bullseye is going to kill her until Daredevil stops him, throwing him off the building. The NYPD moves in on Bullseye, but as he is taken in, we see he is holding a shuriken in his hand. Daredevil faints due to his wounds. They attempt to move in on DD and Elektra, as the Vigilante Outlaw Act is still in effect, but Elektra soon takes DD with her and manages to escape. She drops him off outside a hospital after stripping him of his costume before fleeing. The next day it is reported that Matt Murdock was stabbed in a gang related accident, and Elektra poses as his date for the night, pretending to be a witness to the whole event. This means she knows of his identity, and remembers him from college. As he is greeted by Foggy and Karen Page, alone in his office, Murdock soon gets a mysterious call and is told to turn on the news. The report is of how Bullseye, now a wanted fugitive, escaped from custody and is again at large. It ends with the man, who is revealed to be Bullseye himself, revealing to Murdock that he knows of his double life.
Now onto the cast...
Ryan Gosling as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil
Gosling is one of my favorite actors, and is an incredible one to. All the movies i've seen him in he has been amazing and i have a feeling that he could be a great Daredevil, not just for my MCU, but also for the forthcoming Daredevil reboot. Sure, he'd have to bulk up, and figure out how to do a "darker" voice, but that's all things that could be worked out. So in my mind, Gosling deserves to be Daredevil!
Zachary Quinto as Bullseye
Quinto is also one of my favorite actors, (along with Gosling) and is amazing at playing villains. If you don't believe me, you've obviously never seen "Heroes", where he played Sylar, a creepy serial killer. I would love to see him as Bullseye, and i can picture him now saying "I never miss", the villain's classic line from his first encounter with Daredevil.
Olivia Wilde as Elektra Natchios
Wilde is a great actress and is frequently cast in many different roles here on CBM.com. But i think that of all of them, Elektra is one she'd be really good in. I think her and Gosling could have great chemistry together.
Jason Segel as Foggy Nelson
I didn't realize how popular this pick was until after i first picked it. I hadn't even checked out much Daredevil fancasts when i first though that Segel, who is a great comedic actor, would be a great Foggy. He could bring the comedy side, but also the sometimes serious side that comes with having a blind bestfriend who is secretly a vigilante.
Jack Coleman as Ben Urich
This choice is the same one i've had throughout all of my MCU thus far, and i still think Coleman would be a perfect Urich.
Stephen Dorff as Mister Fear
I have Fear taking on a much larger role here in the 2nd run of my MCU, and Dorff is an actor who i think could be a bone chilling villain, as Mister Fear, a very underrated and under used villain in my opinion.
Scott Glenn as Stick
I know this choice i used a lot, but if you've seen "Sucker Punch", you have to agree with it. Glenn would be a great mentor to Daredevil.
Amy Smart as Karen Page
Page would be a great Amy Smart, that's my opinion, and if i remember correctly, i'm pretty sure i've seen it on a few other fancasts before too!
Matt Smith as 25 Year Old Hugo Natchios
I couldn't find a picture of a young Hugo Natchios, but Matt Smith in my mind could excel in this minor role.
Leelee Sobieski as 25 Year Old Christina Natchios
The same with Christina Natchios, i couldn't find a picture of her when she was younger, but Sobieski could also break out in this minor role!
That's it! The next part of my MCU should be up soon, as i said earlier, i've been working on it for a while, and have it already to go, so expect it to be up in a day or two!
Meanwhile, check out some of my other fancasts, including the earlier parts to my MCU!
