Oliver Queen was a spoiled millionaire playboy with zero ambition and a mild affinity for archery. While on his yacht throwing a very lavish party a vicious storm ripped the yacht apart ship wrecking 22 year old Oliver on a mysterious deserted island off the coast of china. On this island Oliver had to learn how to be self sufficient and how to survive with no one but yourself. Armed only with his bow that was shipwrecked along with him he hunted to survive he grew stronger every day and become a true master with the bow in 2 short years their. Life was hard but good lonely and unsure Oliver thought he'd never get off the island. But he soon learned of human traffickers on the island mining for diamonds. Oliver was horrified by the traffickers and not sure wether he could stop them. He spent the next year battling the traffickers off the island after many wounds and fights he overthrew them and their slaves rose against them. The slaves were forever in debt of this man dressed in green and took their captors ship back to the mainland. When Oliver returned to starling a few weeks after he no longer cared about a lavish lifestyle and decided to help the people of his city. He took the name the slaves had given him and took to the streets as the Green Arrow.
