Alright, this is my vision of a new Constantine series, called Hellblazer. It will feature a traditional, English speaking, cynical John Constantine.

First, to all those who will argue that he's too old, I should point out that John is one of the few characters who actually ages in the comic book universe. Laurie is 50 years old, and the perfect actor to play the curmudgeon, I mean, just watch House and you'll know he's a perfect fit!
ZATANNA ZATARA
Amanda Peet

Whaaa? Zatanna? Noooo. Well, yeah. She was once a lover of Constantine's. She would be great to have in this film, so that we'll at least see her on screen, if not for a spin-off....?
And Amanda Peet is a wonderful actress, who has a quick tongue and quicker wits to keep pace with Laurie's Constantine.
CHAS CHANDLER
Jim Sturgess

Constantine's closest friend and driver. Sturgess would be able to own the role as John's "apprentice".
PAPA MIDNITE
Wesley Snipes
,
Snipes has the attitude, the charisma, and the looks to play the New York nightclub owner, and frequent opponent of John's.
FIRST OF THE FALLEN
Anthony Hopkins

The First of the Fallen, the first angel to fall from God's grace, he is especially interested in the soul of Constantine. Hopkins has that menacing, creepy appeal that would be ideal for the fallen angel.
GARY LESTER
Steve Buscemi
Constantine's oldest friend. He is attacked by the demon Mnemoth and needs John's help. Buscemi looks like Lester, and has the twitchy acting style to portray him.
