World's Finest/Batman & Superman Teamup

Superman: Henry Cavill
For obvious reasons, I kept him as Superman. By now I think everyone is confident in Man of Steel and that it should be the launching point of a DC Cinematic Universe.
Batman: Armie Hammer
I'm all in for Armie Hammer as Batman, he's huge (6'5) , he has the playboy look and just imagine a cowl instead of the domino mask and cowboy hat, he looks just like a young Arkham Batman. He also has a really deep voice like Kevin Conroy, and if he changed the tonality a little bit he could sound really awesome as Batman.
Lex Luthor: Michael Rosenbaum
I know some people will be like "Smallville actor, BLASPHEMY" but hear me out, Michael Rosenbaum was the best part of that show. I don't think anyone can say that he wasn't a good Lex Luthor, and I think he would continue to do a good job if he was brought back into the movies. I know this casting is unlikely because it's obviously a different universe from Smallville, but hey this is a fancast right?
Metallo/John Corben: Sam Worthington
I can't decide whether or not I want Metallo to be a cyborg or a full-on Robot like in Justice League: Doom , but I think Sam Worthington's voice would be good for Metallo and if they decided to go Cyborg he looks like he could be in the Military like John Corben.
Plot:
After the battles of Smallville and Metropolis the town/city have just finished or are close to repairing all the damage done by the Kryptonians and things are back to normal. A lot of people consider the Man of Steel a hero and are starting to call him Superman (he's been heavily involved in the repair effort). However, MIlitary types like Colonel Hardy and Sam Lane still don't trust him, and though he's done a lot of good, think they need to have a way of restraining him if he does eventually try to take over.
Hardy/Lane bring this proposal to the heads of the military/goverment, but they disagree and think that Superman is here to help, and has proved it. Angered by this, they decide to go "Under the table" and seek help from LexCorp who's CEO has publicly shared his distaste for Superman. Luthor accepts the offer and uses scientists from one of the subsidiary laboratories (CADMUS) to develop something. Using a sample of Superman's blood they are able to synthesize a compound that is able to damage Superman's cells (Kryptonite, but it won't be called that at all in the movie). Lex and the military decide that they want to incorporate the Kryptonite into robotic drone type things and this leads to the invention of Metallo with the "Kryptonite" core. Batman learns of all of this with his detective work and decides to warn Superman of this plot by the military, the two decide to team up and put a stop to Colonel Hardy's under the table dealings with LexCorp.
Well there's the basic plot/premise, I think it could be a realistic way to progress Superman's story and Batman's help is logical because Superman can't do anything against Kryptonite.
