Could This Be The Logo For Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class?

Does a hooded top for sale on eBay used by the cast and crew reveal a variation of the movies official logo? Hit the jump to see what you think and for a little bit of info on Fox's merchandise plans...

The following item has been listed on eBay.co.uk with the following description:

Brand new top given to creative team who worked on the forthcoming X Men First Class film in the UK & the USA. Very rare item & sure to be very collectable in the future. Jacket is olive green in colour & is a size small. Jacket is a 'fruit of the loom' cotton hooded jacket with 2 hand pockets & full front zip. Very nice quality. Screen printed X Men First Class crew logo on the bottom of the back of the jacket (on right hand side) . Really beautiful item. A must have for any X Men film fan.

While I think it's common sense that the one we see in the movie won't have the words "Cast And Crew 2010" written on it, there's still a chance that this might just be a variation of the actual logo. The fact that it's a little plain makes me think it's probably a quickie "X" symbol that they threw together for the cast...however, we've seen logos for movies revealed via this way in the past (I'm pretty sure we saw one for Green Lantern on a directors chair a while back) so who knows!

And despite Fox releasing literally nothing in the way of promotional images, footage or information about the movie, Toynormous assure fans that there is plenty to come in terms of merchandise for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class.

It’s a safe bet that with an X-Men movie in theaters you’ll see plenty of X-Men product in 2011. However, we’re not revealing specific plans for Summer 2011 just yet.

It's hardly surprising that Fox are planning a large amount merchandise for X-Men: First Class, but will they able to compete with the might of Thor, Green Lantern and Captain America: The First Avenger? (all of which are released pretty close to this film) With rumours circulating that the first footage of the movie will be shown during February's Superbowl, we might start seeing a lot more soon.

X-Men: First Class is set to be released on June 3, later this year!

Being the logo used on crew gear certainly doesn't guarantee that it will be the movie's logo. I've seen plenty of crew shirts, hats, etc that bore no resemblance at all to the official marketing.

I hope all this secrecy about this film is worth it when it does come out. I'm dying to see a trailer or teaser. Something. Can't wait.

Nice find dude. It looks like the same logo that was used on the set chair and stuff from a good while back. I doubt it will be the actual movie logo, but you never know.
