This from LatinoReview.com :) Enjoy:
By now you've heard that 20th Century Fox is going
forward with its reboot of the Fantastic Four film series.
But what we haven't heard much about (beyond the murmurs
that the new movie will have darker, more Dark-Knight-like tone)
is who it will star and what the actors who brought the
Fantastic Four to reel life in 2005 think about the change.
When I, along with some fellow journos, recently caught up
with Chris Evans, who played Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch),
he had this to say regarding his involvement and thoughts on
the reboot.
"I don't think I'm going to be involved with it. I think
they're going to start from scratch. [...] If there's room to
reinvent a franchise in a different tone and they can make a
good film out of it then so be it. I have nothing negative to
say about it."
In fact, it seems Evans is actually enthused about the idea.
"I welcome the new franchise; I hope it's fantastic. I like
good movies. I'm sure Michael Keaton felt the same way. I'm sure
Christopher Reeves felt the same way. If it's a great movie,
let's make it, let's get it out there. There aren't enough of
them."
Cap10: I know alot of people hated them, but i actually enjoyed
the two films. Lets hope the reboot brings back the fans that
were lost with the first two and more importantly, lets hope that
it kicks ass :)
