Fant4stic Theory: How will The Negative Zone establish Mole Man and connect the series to X-Men?

A theory I have on how the Negative Zone will play a major role in the Fox CBM universe

So I was thinking about how Fant4stic could possible fit in the X-Men universe and how we would ever get Mole Man in the franchise. In my theory there is one answer, The Negative Zone.
If you've noticed, in the Fant4stic trailer 6 people enter the teleportation machine. Obviously 5 of them are Reed, Sue, Johnny, Ben And Victor. But who's the sixth? Without a doubt in my mind, the sixth is Harvey Elder. He is a main character in this movie and based on what we know it only makes sense. So they go to the Negative Zone and they come back altered, almost dead. You know, the usual origin story stuff. But one person didn't come back, Harvey Elder. He died in the Negative Zone. At least they think he did.
If you don't know the Mole Man origin story here's a brief summary. He finds an island, has a race of creatures called Moloids, stays there, becomes the ruler. But how does that work in the movies? Here's how! Harvey travels deep into the Negative Zone and finds a cave. In this cave he seeks refuge but finds himself in a civilization of Moloids. They bring him back to good health (or something helps them bond). The Moloids are amazed by a human, they think he is a god. So Harvey Elder is now the ruler. This all happens off-screen during Fant4stic. Fast Forward To Fant4stic 2. Harvey Elder finds a way back to Earth, thinking he was left for dead. He wants to kill everyone involved with sending him to space. But he does this even publicly, which causes the military to get involved. So now we have his motivation and why he wants to kill everyone. Thinks he was left for dead, now the military is trying to stop him from getting revenge.
On to the X-Men connection. As we know, X-Men Apocalypse will pretty much be a disaster film. There will be many civilian casualties and many cities destroyed. After this movie the government will see what mutants are truly capable of and want to get rid of them efficiently. Well after X-Men Apocalypse, The Fantastic Four become public scientist/celebrities like in the comics and now the public knows about the Negative Zone. So, the government decides they want to take mutants to the Negative Zone. The Fantastic Four feel responsible for this happening and they try to stop it.
This theory is probably far from what's happening. But hey, I thought it would be fun to speculate and post about. What do you guys think will happen? I'm really excited about the future of The Fantastic Four!

I like your ideas about Mole Man being an established character. You should elaborate more on the crossover part.

If it connects to X-men it'll be through the N-zone. Secondly if you look at the part where they get into the new machine you see Johnnys silhouette

@DrDoom it will , it was already anounced a crossover between x-men and F4

Interesting hypotenuse you have here, problem is the screenwriter confirmed these worlds are universally separate, and Fan-Four-Stick doesn't happen in the same world as mutants. I thought you were about to break out the Multiverse theory for a minute, where in essence there's only one Negative Zone, the F4 universe discovered it first because they're not distracted by anti-mutant bigotry, and the X-Men universe is simply less advanced. But because the parallel realties don't have separate n-zones, they could theoretically meet face to face there, or drag one another back into their own worlds.

I was thinking about the multiverse theory but Trank said they might crossover and I have a feeling they'll just later say they're in the same universe.

@GliderMan Yeah that was a quote from Singer I believe. Also, if you don't like it it's ok It's just a fun little theory I had that I thought I'd share.

Confirmed crossover for X-Men and F4? Isn't that speculation? I don't think I've been out of it for that long

Cool theory, I actually hope they keep the universes separate too....

Really cool theory though, good article, fun read

@dethpillow I thought the same thing until I froze the frame where it showed the second trip into the N-zone. When I froze it I saw Human Torch and I think Reed standing next to each other watching on. Then we see doom sort of put in a restraint bed in some sort of military base where reed asks him what's coming. It's that scene and the second trip that have really made it hard for me to decipher any plot which is a good thing because it's only a teaser and trank wants suprise. My theory is Elder discovers the N-zone and it is known he disappeared after experimenting with it. Reed wants to go to some other dimension but Doom hacks into the machine and sets the coordinates towards the N-zone causing them all to transform. They come back and doom isn't with them because he was " killed" trying to get something or someone, whatever. The second mission is them going back to get Doom and they capture and imprison him to interrogate him. He escapees like we see in the trailer and he escapes to latveria. Now that's where it all gets jumbled because what I said up there is not very detailed and I still don't see how it fits togther. We know Latveria plays a role in the movie somehow, maybe there is a loop? They go through NYC and end up in Latveira? I seriously don't know lol. Either way I know Latveria plays a role somehow because it's on the map and it seems like a plane is going towards Latveira in a shot. What are the answers doom talks about?

@dethpillow I've watched the trailer at least three times since it came out. I've had a lot of time to speculate and fit things togther but I've only been able to decipher one thing. Bravo to trank for actually keeping things a mystery

Interesting theory, i love it.

Do you know what would be interesting is if the Fantastic Four travel to the Marvel Universe dimension and meet The Avengers.

The funny thing is the N-zone could probably make a MCU crossover with Fox if they wanted to.
