Deathly Hallows Teaser Trailer

Deathly Hallows Teaser Trailer

The first official and legitimate trailer for the upcoming first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows really whet’s the appetite.

Set to debut later this year in November, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is definitely one of the year’s most anticipated geeky films. Now, we get to see a decent tease of what’s coming.

*Edit*We've been asked by WB to take down the trailer, though it's probably still out there. But it appears its from the DVD or BluRay edition, probably of Half Blood Prince. So check it out!

The teaser is narrated by John Hurt, who is portraying Mr. Ollivander. Other new additions to the film are Bill Nighy as Rufus Scrimgeour, Ciarán Hinds as Aberforth Dumbledore and Rhys Ifans as Xenophilius Lovegood, three names which suggest a possible stricter adherence to the book.

Further additions include all of the Weasley’s for the first time in the movies, as wel as a return for Clémence Poésy as Fleur Delacour. These additions suggest that we will in fact be returning to the Burrow to witness the wedding of Bill and Fleur.

Warwick Davis will also be returning to the Potterverse, but instead of playing Professor Flitwick he’ll be portraying Griphook, the goblin who helped Harry Potter in his search for Helga Hufflepuff’s cup.

If you have any desire to continue the search for which characters are making an appearance in the movie, check out the full IMDB listing, because it really does sound as if we’re getting a movie that will stay true to the book. Maybe that’s why it is being split up into two.

It's not working for me, th Spring Board symbol come up then it just stops.. But my view on Harry Potter is this, it has just become a money Vacuum, iread all the book and i know that they can't even put in a tenth of the detail and story that's in the books, but they haven't even tried, it's small action scenes (that are completely altered or not existint in book) connected with lots whiney teen drama.. Then they use the "we need two movies for the last because of all the story" excuse to cover thier greed. Plain and simple one movie makes 500 million break that story into two now you have two 500 million dollar paychecks! yaaayy!.. I liked 1 & 2 cause they put the detail in, Chris Colombus captured the magic, but the rest have been slapped together 5 was very cool the whole realistic view and end battle was awesome but then again I hated the 5th book, the last movie was just a painful crap on the book.. and in the last book the first half of the book is just boring crap, for a movie to be split, both movies need to have a climax and some sort of end, since that doesnt exist in the book that mean more made up stuff.... and Thus ends my rant

I just attempted to watch the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I didn't make it through the movie. I have slowly lost interest in the Potter movies.

I am also wondering why some of these get posted as Comic Book Movies news.

"and Thus ends my rant" lmfao - @TheGrinch

It's on Google Videos and Youtube guys. Just search it up.

I don't see how the movies could only be for money, considering how much effort is put into them. But it would be impossible to capture the scope of the books and Playdough it into a movie. J.K. Rowling approves what they do too. There's a piece of commentary on the Deathly Hallow's film wikipedia page that really kinda explains it.

I thought the Half-Blood Prince movie was a great adaptation of the book, by the way. Of course, its not a clone of the book, like Watchmen. I say Bravo, go Harry Potter.

[frick] the films - thye're nowhere near as good as the books anyway! Sure, I'll go and see this but I havent enjoyed a single one of them yet!

Probably thanks to the shit acting of the likes of Daniel Radcliff (who cant really pull off any facial expression without them looking fake) and that slightly effeminate ginger kid. ;)

Its only the older, decent actors who make these movies barely watchable IMO!

never read the book and I don't intend to!

The movies are AWESOME! EVERYONE OF THEM! 5 IS BY FAR THE BEST!

Since this has nothing to do with "COMICS" I could care less about the source material.

TheGrinch- That is exactly why I never read the books
so I can't complain if they are as good as the
books, I'm sure if I read them I would be
saying what you are saying, But I didn't
so i have no stake in these movies, just
great stories and action..a popcorn flick
if you will!

WTF?? Part one in November and Part 2 in July??? Oh they cut out a lot of important shit with the others why not cut out chapters in this craptastic book to make it one movie. I'm sorry guys I liked the series til the last book came out.

The final fight between Voldemort and Harry seemed rushed in my opinion, They found the last Horocruex within 3 chapters and spent like 5 chapters before that bickering with each other and having no clue where to find the Horocruex. She killed way too many characters in one book and it just was a complete let down, but that is me. Also the whole thing with the Wand at the end was just confusing and stupid.
