Set in a medieval village, Daggerhorn, Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) falls in love with an orphaned wood cutter as a village is haunted by a werewolf. The villagers of Daggerhohn seek the assistance of a hunter (Gary Oldman) to fight the creature.






Red Riding Hood is directed by Catherine Hardwicke from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson and is very loosely based on the folk tale Little Red Riding Hood.

This movie looks pretty good,very creepy like the movie Sleepy Hollow.I don't know why everybody says it looks all Twilighty & sh*t.Nothin could ever compare to that garbage.Amanda Seyfried is pretty damn cute if you ask me,and I heard she is from Allentown,Pennsylvania.Which is about an hour and a half from where I live here in PA.If I would have known that sooner,I would of been up there poundin the bajesus out of her every weekend.HaHaHa!!!

Hmmm . . . looks good. I'm glad they stuck to the tale and making her go to grandma's house. I hope the wolf isn't her boyfriend (or the hunter) cuz that would be too obvious. I think I'll give the film a try. Looks interesting.

I think the grandmother is the wolf, think about it. In all incarnations the wolf disguises himself as the grandmother then red and the hunter come to release granny from the wolf's clutches. Maybe in this version grandma disguises(involuntarily) as the wolf then red and the hunter try to (unknowingly) release her from the curse of the wolf? Just a thought.
