Collider.com has posted some photos of the Spain set for Clash of the Titans Two. The sequel to the 3D action blockbuster stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, and Ralph Fiennes as well as returning director Jonathan Liebesman. The first film had some disappointing reactions—2010’s Clash of the Titans is generally used as the example of what not to do with 3D film. Besides issues with 3D, the film lacked the 300 raw warrior action and the plot was basically a dull group buddy cop style adventure. I think Liebesman and Worthington are aware of all these flaws and in the Wrath of the Titans hopefully besides making a movie to draw audiences, they will make a movie for audiences…or Clash 2 will surely be called the wrath of the titans…
From Collider.com:
“Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, and Liam Neeson will reprise their roles from the original, joined by Clash newbies Edgar Ramírez, Rosamund Pike, Toby Kebbell, and Bill Nighy. The sequel, which may or may not be called Wrath of the Titans, is schedule for release March 30, 2012.
Spanish site Tumba Abierta (which I believe translates to “Open Grave”; awesome) posted these images and quite a few more at the site. I believe the photos were taken on the island of Tenerife in the Spanish Canary Islands. Clash 2 is also shooting in studios outside London and on location in South Wales.”

Official Synopsis:
“A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus—the demigod son of Zeus—is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius.
Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.
Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth.
Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.”
