I, personally, love the Hobbit films. Well worth my time and then some, it's rare to find movies with this much attention to detail and world-building.

yes, I mean they aren't as good as the originals. But if these came out without any knowledge of the first films, they would be considered good decent movies.

I think if Hobbit came out before LOTR the opinions would be different. Hobbit was entertaining but with the bar set so high....not mind blowing by any stretch.

He did one time for me Dev.

He asked me to stop sending him pics of my dick...which is messed up because he could have sent me a private message asking this. Why you gotta make it public?

Hobbit movies worth your time? No. They are not. The first one was terribly boring, and the second didn't improve much outside of Cumberbatch's voice work. I might see the 3rd one someday...but not in any rush.

One thing that bothers me about the Tolkien movies is their lack of consistency in pronouncing names right. Sometimes they'll pronounce a name right and other times they don't. Aragorn is pronounced AH-Rah-gorn, not AIR-ruh-gorn; and with these The Hobbit movies there were a number of names not pronounced right. Gandalf, for example, is correctly pronounced GAHN-dahlv and Dain is correctly pronounced DAH-in according to reconstructed Old Norse pronunciation or Dine according to Tolkien's pronunciation.
Also, there are a lot of continuity problems like Galadriel showing up when she wasn't even supposed to be outside of Lothlorian during the events of The Hobbit. Lothlorian was like North Korea at the time. No one was allowed to come or leave in Lothlorian.
