Yesterday, it was reported that actor/wrestler Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has signed on for a role for the upcoming
G.I. Joe film,
Cobra Strikes, supposedly for the character Roadblock (as suggested by
Deadline, who broke the story). The always reliable
Super Hero Hype has the following to say about Johnson's 'confirmation' of his involvement with the film...
Following the story, Johnson himself tweeted a confirmation of sorts, complete with a teaser video constructed out of behind-the-scenes footage from Fast Five.
"We've read your comments," Johnson wrote, "We know what you want. '..and knowing is half the battle.' It's on!"
