Six G.I. Joe Movie Posters

Why can't they just wear their classic uniforms???? I hope they don't screw this up. I don't even mind that it's not a real Amercan Hero anymore. I love the idea of a world army. Just keep the characters the same as they were in the comics/cartoons. Is that too much too ask?????

The cut off of the faces is supposed to be dramatic and such, i think it works...kinda

What is the deal with you people and the "Actual Comic Uniforms"????
It's SOOOO annoying !! Like that's the clincher between whether a movie sucks or otherwise!! These are the things my friends and I talked about when we were in 5th grade. Then we found that it doesn't make a difference as long as the acting and story drive the movie. I'm SOOOO sick of people thinking the small crap will make or break a movie...wait till it comes out, see it, THEN make a judgment!!! For those that already have an idea in their head based on POSTERS!!!....you are CRAPTASTIC!!!

So far this film looks like it's walking that fine line between awesome and pure cheese (which can too be awesome if done right), but I've only seen pics and no footage so I can't be sure. I hope it's good. I'm all for these costumes, the guys look bad ass and the girls just look.....sorry slipped into a hiperstate of existance!

LMAOO that does sound like a good plot shaman, and by the way Marlon Wayans was amazing in Requiem For A Dream but i think in a action movie he wont do much hold his own i think he is the comic relief in the film, and when the hell are they gonna have a pic of Cobra Commander say what u want about Joseph Gordon-Levitt but that guy can act stop-loss and The look out he was good in both i think he might be one of the best in this movie besides snake eyes but i hate Channing Tatum he acts the same in every movie go make step up 3 lol.

These costumes are beyond horrible! The Joes all had different outfits reflective of the military branch they came from, or just normal clothes. I'll grant that some superhero costumes just don't photograph well on the big screen, but the Joe costumes would be simple to do, and would look great. No, instead, we get the typical modern Hollywood gay-fantasy black leather look. I am so beyond SICK and TIRED of that! In many episodes of the classic series, their outfits enabled the Joes to blend into crowds and more easily keep an eye on what Cobra was up to. Black leather outfits will stick out in most crowds. Why does Hollywood continuously have to take things that were cool and unique and ruin them? GI Joe was one of the handful of really GREAT cartoon series of the 1980's, and this movie just takes a big filth-infested, fetid dump on it. The only good thing that could possibly come out of this movie would be if they re-release the classic series (and the movie that went with it) on DVD.

Why is everyone whining about the outfits? I mean, think about it. One of the Joes had a sailor outfit on (blanking on his name)! These are new, cool, and omg! snake eyes and storm shadow are the same as they've always been! You can't base a movie off they're clothes. And as for Cobra's part, I think this first movie has Gordon-Levitt as Duke's friend. The Joes are fighting Destro's organization (before he got his mask). IT's towards the end of the movie that Godon-Levitt's character begins to see the problems of the world, and thinks he is fit to fix them, throws a rag over his head and creates COBRA. That's what I think is going to happen based on what i've heard and read...who knows? it could be totally different.

I heard a rumor that the black outfits are supposed to be some sort of "accelerator suit" that gives them boosted strength, agility, and reflexes.That would explain why everyone of them is in all black.

HMMMM... all that says to me is that this is going to teeter on the borderline of either being a really good film or a suckfest. I want this movie to be good, and I hope it is. I'll be there to see it.

Marlon Wayans is actually a pretty good actor... but he's sooo hard to take seriously. I hope he can overcome that one day... roles like this won't help, but its a paycheck!

By the way, Shaman... Snakebomb? OH GOD!!! thats enough cheese to... maybe actually work! LOL

I know version4 LMFAO!!!!!! It's cause i recently saw that episode and couldn't help but making the link LOL :P And if those suits are "accelerator suits" it's gonna suck ass, no mistake about it. I just hope the action'll be decent.
