FIRST SET PHOTOS OF STEPHEN AMELL ON 'THE FLASH' RELEASED!

New set photos showing Stephen Amell's 'Oliver Queen' have finally been released, leading me to consider a new theory on how he could possibly come back!

More and more, my anticipation grows ever so eager to see the inevitable emotional reuniting of Barry Allen and Oliver Queen, for 'The Flash' season 9.

The methods the show will take to bring Oliver Queen back, and meet up with Barry Allen once more, are annoyingly still kept under lock and key and left for us as the audience to give our best guesses while creating and spreading theories.

The news I have here today does not regard a confirmation of how Barry will meet Oliver again, rather, set photos of Barry Allen and Oliver Queen! Thanks to the Instagram account of "flashfacts4real":

While the two photos are of each of them separately, I expect there to be more to follow showing both of them in the same shot, after this first batch had been released.

If we further examine the pictures, however, I believe I could propose a theory. We see Barry Allen dressed in clothing that strikingly resembles the classic attire that he would be seen wearing in the earlier seasons of the show.

Newer episodes of 'The Flash' showcase Barry commonly wearing sweaters, over a button-down shirt. I am not saying that Grant Gustin is forbidden from dressing for his character in any other fashion, but seeing him wear this early-season outfit when Stephen Amell is on set as well just makes me think...

What if Barry time-traveled to a moment in a season one episode, and has to look and dress the part of his character all those years ago? And the reason he would time travel would be to seek Oliver Queen's help to stop an enemy because we already know that these two are teaming up once more.

The photo of Stephen Amell as well is intriguing because his shorter haircut indicates his hairstyle during 'Arrow'.

When 'The Flash' had begun, 'Arrow' was in its third season, and Stephen Amell had to get a buzzcut for when he would join The League of Assasins later on throughout that season.

Could these public appearances just be a coincidence, or is the show leading us to believe the theory I have proposed here today?

I'll be guilty in saying I watched all of Arrow, but it really wasn't that consistent. Fights were pretty good for budget TV though. Prometheus was probably the only strong villain aside from Desthstroke who was good to watch for a minute.

@UniqNo - Like most Arrowverse shows, they eventually lose their footing.

@JonathanDan - Yeah, at least they managed to give us some quite great fan service in those cross over events.
