Real Life Archer Can Match Hawkeye and Other Fictional Archers

Real Life Archer Can Match Hawkeye and Other Fictional Archers

Green Arrow, Hawkeye eat your heart out. One amazing real life archer displays his skills with a bow which are on par (perhaps even better) with many fictional archers.

Archery as displayed on film and t.v has come under fire numerous times for everything from the way the bow is held to the odds of hitting a target from so far away.

Now if there are any of you out there who groan over films showing an archer taking an "impossible" shot from the back of a car, or the rapid-fire arrows that pin an opponent to the fall, take a look at these two videos featuring Danish archer Lars Anderson who will never make you roll your eyes back in disbelief over those things again. The first video effectively pits him against Legolas from The Lord of the Rings, using an ancient technique to hit seven targets in 4.9 seconds which is actually faster than the Elf, while the second may be even cooler, as Anderson shoots and scores from the back of a Harley.

Now all we need to see is how good he is with a boomerang arrow or a boxing-glove arrow.

I've always loved archery. I own a Hoyt's Buffalo bow which is a slightly updated version of a classic bow. Even if I practiced night and day I don't think I could even come close to this guy Lars. That dude is badass with a bow. I love the Green Arrow and Hawkeye but damn this guy is good! He puts Oliver Queen to shame with a bow and he's a fictional character!

Hopefully, in one of The Avengers sequels they will have Quicksilver use Hawkeye's bow and arrow. Bet they won't be able to go as fast as him!!!

Watching "Walking Dead" really makes one think of how useful knowing how use a bow and arrow efficiently would be in knowing how to survive a real life "Apocalyptic Situation" which could actually happen at any time.

Or even if a person was stuck in the wilderness, serious stuff to think about.
